I paid for SEO with a very reputable Fiverr consultant and they managed to tank my impressions... what happened?

The data seems to indicate that after installing SEO text in all my gigs, they all crashed in impressions. 0 impressions on all of them, on most days for the last two months. Why did SEO do the opposite of what it was suppose to do? The consultant insists it is gig rotation, but how long does that usually go on for? Its been nearly two months of zero impressions. Any input is appreciated as I am very new to all this. Many thanks!
