Does Fiverr only use gig titles for search results?

avantbratch

Question

Launched my first gig a week ago and currently, I'm doing some research.

It seems that the Fiverr search engine only shows results based on Gig titles. It can't find my gig if I search tags or keywords used in the description.

Can you give me feedback about this issue?

No, Fiverr uses a variety of factors to determine which gigs appear in search results, including:

  • Gig title
  • Gig description
  • Gig tags
  • Seller ratings and reviews
  • Gig price
  • Gig popularity
  • Gig language
  • Gig location

Fiverr also uses machine learning to improve the accuracy of its search results. This means that the more people use Fiverr, the better the search results will become.

Here are some tips for improving your gig's ranking in Fiverr search results:

  • Use relevant keywords in your gig title and description.
  • Use relevant tags.
  • Get positive ratings and reviews.
  • Keep your gig price competitive.
  • Promote your gig on social media and other online platforms.
  • Make sure your gig is available in the language and location that your target audience is searching for.

By following these tips, you can increase your chances of having your gig appear at the top of the search results, which will lead to more sales.
