I had face my worse experience on Fiverr ,artist/seller please take note,(forgive my bad english)

Greeting all,

I reach my level two around 2 month ago and everything is going smooth and 99% of by buyer are nice and really satisfy so I get 100% 5 star rating and planning to keep that status, but recently I starting getting these weird buyer that suddenly bought the gig and cancel it without I starting the gig...I guess they are some middle man/agent or something so once their order get cancel they immediately cancel my gig...

I mean, I'm ok with the fact they have their reason and don't need to work on this and understand their position,  but this will resulting my level drop in the next update. Which it does.. and I need to check with the service center. ...and they did reply and help me to resolve this so I have trust in them will help me to resolve any unreasonable along the way...

so this month I get this weird buyer buying my gig and ask me to create a 3d model of a model.

to be safe, I've submitted the 3d model preview to him in 1/2 of the process and "he did not make any comments and ask me to send him the 3d model as soon as possible, but once I submitted the actual 3d model and all the delivery to him in the 2/3.suddenly this seller suddenly get so upset and angry to the point that he is starting to insult me, he told me that he can do better then me and I dont deliver what he wants ,I mean i understand the fact that he don't satisfy with the 1st cut ,but I did show him the 1st cut and also mentioned that I can make any revision until his satisfactory ....

but no, not even want me to make changes and  just want his refund... as I already done like 95% of the model even he wanted to do that I've try to communicated and ask why he got so angry suddenly so he issue a dispute..

I know that you guys will ask me to contact the resolution center and let them know about this, which  I did, I had write few email explaining on this....and they 1st told me that I try to communicated with him and resolve this by ourself, and I have no obligation to cancel the gig,

so I took their advice and try to pamper the buyer to a point that I'm feeling so humiliating.. I try by best to fulfil his request even thought I starting to know what this guys really wants, but still as you expected he keep spamming the cancel and return button want to have refund...

so i had done few round of revision for nothing and get further insult by this guys that don't even put any detail on this profile, not even his origin country..

 today I received this email from fiverr stating that they have return the money to the buyer ,and without even letting me know....I mean..i understand that sometime buyer don't satisfy with the work and want to cancel, but I'm pretty sure that this guys just want free work from us ...

honestly ,I really care if I get the 60usd but I don't want these people easy ways to take advantage of the platformo & us that work hard deliver good service  and ..

I mean I'm trying to help the platform and my fellow artist that work their axx up to provide best service to prevent them from taking advantage by these people...we work so hard to keep the reputation and make the buyer happy but this is just too humiliating. Truly disappointed.

I understand that this is fiverr policy and not the service center policy but I really don't care anymore, I had written long  email explaining this to them but yet he still get away with free work from us..

anyways I will be slowly shifting away from this platform.. as I don't think fiverr have any good solution on these people and the buyers always right ...

In this point accept this result and don't want to waste more time writing these long paragraph to service center and thoughts with my bad English..

but I just want to warm my good artist friends.. guys..

*don't ever send the actual deliver file in the 1st cut,

*always ask for them to approve it before sending over the final 3d files, .....

once they have the final files...it's basically end game...and no one can help you.. cheers..

I avoid difficult buyers. It is sometimes important to study the mindset of the buyer before agreeing to work with them.

Though that’s how fiverr works, you are supposed to deliver only finished work in your delivery otherwise you might get a warning for sending an incomplete delivery.

Well, I know differently categories can have different approach and it’s easier to approve a sketch first but it’s better to use milestones feature and then you’ll be paid for your sketch as first milestone and a proper 3d as a second milestone

Yes I thought so too. Until this..

haha anyway I'm not in the position of telling how you should do, but In my opinion, finish work does't mean that I need to send the actually 3d format,  you can show the 360 turntable so that he can check the model throughout ,and build a mutual understanding  if that's the artist had model everything in to the 3d file, you are able to tell if he really want a good service or just a cheap buyer who want to get free work at this point ...

if you send over 3d file straight and this is the only things he want and he gets it ...,and unluckily he is one of those scammer buyer then you are doom, there is nothing you could do...believe me ,I've tried:) for me i'ts not about that small sum of money but how they take advantage of you and nothing you could do to stop this ,frustrated it's the word.

yes, I agree, I'm am too naïve ,to me fiverr doe's make too much of a income and i was actually I was having fun doing all these service to practice on my skill and happy most of my buyer are happy with my service.....and not expecting there's these group of people that rely on this wo service....haha
