About your question -

What is the reason for the cancelation?

If it's due to buyer error, it shouldn't hurt your seller statistics as long as you contact Fiverr Customer Support and cancel through them.

If it's a mutual cancelation, it will hurt your seller stats, so it doesn't matter if the buyer or seller initiates the cancelation through the Resolution Center.
