The only way to promote, as you seem to be implying, is to use the "Promoted Gigs" system where you buy advertising prominance for your gig (if you qualify). Otherwise, the best "promotion" is an effective, well-written gig. All other promotion is for you to determine, elsewhere -- wherever your target customers are located.
