I set a client that I have done work for before an offer. But when they received the offer $5 was added to it. Needless to say they did not order. How is $5 more being added to my offers.

That’s all explained in fiverr TOS that both you and your client signed. And your client can clearly see what the charge goes to as fiverr writes that on the invoice.

I have not had this experience. It is strange.

Its just shows CA $ and the amount on the invoice no explanation. I may have lost this long-term client.

Yes there is on the buyers side. You don’t see it but your buyer sees all fiverr charges on their side. 
 

if you lost a client that didn’t want to pay fiverr fee then it wasn’t a client
