Copyright Infringement

Hello,

I am a Music Composer and Producer.

I have Re-scored an old Spiderman's Movie Trailer Music.

I want to upload that 40 seconds video clip along with my composed music to my gig as a portfolio sample.

I will give video credits to Marvel Studios and Music credits to myself.

So, my question is!

Can I do this without any copyright infringement?

I will be greateful for your answers.

Thank You,

No, you cannot just take copyrighted music and "give credit". You have to purchase a license to use the music, and if the owner accepts your offer, you will be granted a license to proceed.  You are in violation of copyright law if you do otherwise.

No, because he's not using the music, that's his work. He needs the rights to the video. And he's not getting them.

You're right, I had it reversed. But good point, he can't use the video without a license.
