How does an order work?

I'm a content writer, I have talked with a buyer and he provided me with some of the keywords. Should I ask him to order?

Assume you are a sales person in a cafeteria..

After you have requested every details from a customer

It is ideal you ask for their order

You can create custom order and send to buyer. If your buyer accept, you start to work.

You should not ASK them to order, but display them their options with some message like:

Dear customer now that you have given me all the data I need in order to start my work you can either order straight from my gig the package *insert the name of the package that most suits the buyer needs*, or I can send you a custom offer in order to get the ball rolling.

Thanks. I did something like that. I said "Checked them out. Sounds interesting and shouldn't be a problem. God willing, I can deliver them within 2-3 days. You can order anytime you like, I'll start working right away!"  and He told me to create a custom offer.

I have heard tons and tons of "myths" on how Fiverr vanishes gigs from the ranking if any sort of editing is performed after publishing. Are there any Fiverr official who can confirm these claims?
