  1. That's quite unfortunate though, but if the wrongly placed email address is not someone else's active email address, it would be reversed into your Fiverr balance in the next 30days. But if the email is used by another person and the person accept the payment, then I am sorry, you just gave an unknown (unsuspecting) new years gift
  2. I know this post is a bit old. But mind I add this. As a buyer, 1. Do not hoard information from the seller. Keep a open mind and explain into details what you want done 2. Please be polite
  3. The buyer has a grace of 3 days to request for a revision (or 8 days during busy periods) After this, the work get auto-completed However, if a buyer request a modification, be kind enough to tend to the buyer. On the flip side 1. There is 14days pending period (non TRS) till your payment get released into your wallet and within these days, the buyer can still request cancellation via the resolution centre and get the cancellation. (You lose your first drafted work, time and money) 2. An happy client would certainly return more orders in the future (you gain more repeat buyers and save unnecessary circumstances)
  4. I would side with @vsjforall first statement. Build trust by tending to the requested revision (I.e. a modification to the final deliverable and not a change in the concept of the deliverable as this is termed a change in order) However, Please don't do this, as this is termed bugging and fiverr can readily punish you if the buyer takes you up Do not ask for a review (either good or bad) from a buyer. Its against the TOS of 5r
  5. Thank you for the knowledged. May you be richly blessed If a seller (like myself) finds herself In this condition, what do you advice? Thanks once again
  6. Hey, Dupsy!

So, I am new on Fiverr - actually I joined the platform for the first time since 2015.

Yes, there's been a lot of changes, but it's fine...so many learning curves, yeah, but I am learning fast and applying the things I learn on my profile.

I see you've got quite a decent reputation here on the forum, so I thought to familiarize myself with you.

I'm Sam Adeyinka and I'm the creative lead at Merakee Digital Solutions, an agency that's focused on helping personal brands and small businesses increase their brand awareness, hence, become more visible and earn what they truly deserve through proper branding and winning marketing strategies.

    Mind introducing yourself too?

      Nice meeting you.

Based on your introduction, you are way older than I'm on the platform which is a driving force that would encourage me to also want to familiarize with you.

I'm Alabi Modupe by name and I work with an Auditing firm (Olugbade Ogundairo & Co) in Nigeria. I'm one of the many numerous online presence of the firm.

  7. Honestly, I wish more buyers could seriously open up on the project at hand. I do wonder why you as a client (buyer) be hoarding an information from me the seller. Then start giving me the informations like feeding a rat with little dose of poison... Mind I share my little experience. A buyer contacted me inbox for a pitch deck business plan and claimed to be a startup business belonging to no business industry and has no business identity (name, contact or e-commerce presence). At first., I approached the project at hand the best way I could which obviously the client was happy with (word plan). Secondly., on actualization of the financial forecast of the word plan, he started providing valuable infos (business name, industry etc) which were essential to the general business plan acceptability (I.e for loans or by a potential investor) To cut the whole long story short.. I had to cancel the order because of my work ethics which requires me to start the work from fresh. Mind you, the client was not willing to be charged more nor wants to extend the delivery date. This cost me my time, money, sleep and also gig rank on d 5r platform
  8. Its ok. Not every buyer sees the reason or clue in giving a parting word... Just manners
