This Thing also happened to me. I am a new seller so I stay active on fiverr full 24h. One day a clint messaged me and said that he has lot of work over Image to Text.

And then he gave me number and signed out. I told him tat its out of fiverrs policy to contact out of fiverr. But he never came back. and the Next day I see the same thing tat says  "xxxx001 can no longer be contacted. This will not affect your response rate".

I really has happy to see a message from Clint tough. 🙂

Hello guys,

I'm a blog writer on Fiverr for couple of months now, Today a potential buyer reached out to me and said he wanted to work long-term with me, which is great for me of course and he sent me a link to his website which is legit we just needed to discuss some things and I think we would've jumped right into business, but Fiverr banned him I guess, that's a spam if he's sending me a link to his website so I can see what am I working with. There goes my potential 500$ a month i guess, thanks Fiverr

There is also a video on YouTube that describes cases of fraud, for example of a "client" that "realy like your gig", who agrees with you on a very large sum of several thousand, and after you have done the work, he informs you of something like a redemption fee, or a registration fee of, say, a few hundred, that you have to pay in order to redeem the amount the full...
and all kinds of others scams.
ther are Also videos, maybe most of them old, that explain how to avoid and detect frauds like that before, as a seller on Fiverr.

So basically it seams to me that :

Fiverr both saves us the headache of being able to identify this ones, and also protects us.

I guess, its effect your profile too, I generally receive 2 to 3 massages weekly but when its appears didn't receive any single any new client massage since 2 weeks;(

Hi @afsithaet, are these spam messages coming in through your inbox? I hope you're marking those messages as spam! There will always be spam and the best thing to do is to mark those messages as spam as son as possible. It's not worth it to waste your time with scammers.

Also, Buyer Requests are no more. It has been replaced with the new Brief & Match feature. You can read more about this here:

One of the easiest way to identify spam is, they will ask you to contact outside Fiverr. And report them as spam instantly. 

This are clear spam. Never contact anybody outside Fiverr. Keep everything within Fiverr.

Yes, you are right. Fiverr will auto-detect and mark some messages as spam. The other spammers you will need to mark as spam yourself.

I have been receiving the same message, on every message l get on fiverr so far. I am new on fiverr this is my scond week, I had 2 reservations from customer's for my service's no order's yet. How are my customer's able to reserve a spot without ordering my service's on fiverr?

That seller account was deactivated, banned or deleted.

It might be his account got an issue that's why your client is not available anymore. You can get in touch with the customer service to verify if the user is still available or not.

because it was a scam message. Fiverr will automatically mark this message as a spam

Either the person was marked as a spammer by Fiverr, or maybe they blocked you and thus you can't send them a message.

I also got this message because I got the buyer's message in my spam folder and I tried to contact him but I couldn't.

Either they blocked you or Fiverr blocked them. Eitehr way, it does not effect you.
