What’s your best advice for new artists on Fiverr?

My single best advice (for beginners on Fiverr in general) is to really use the buyer requests. I got my first 5-10 regular buyers by contacting the max. amount of buyers in this section!

There’s a lot of advice out there but some of the top ones are:

1. Never work for free. If buyer asks for sample of work direct them to your live portfolio. If they insist on seeing a custom sample, request that they purchase the sample; sending a custom offer may assist with this.

2. Don’t be guilted into doing free work no matter what. If buyer is threatening send a message to customer support so they can address the issue.

3. Don’t be afraid of being unique. Being unique will help you standout better.

4. Know your worth.

5. Make sure your gig description is clear and to the point.
