snugasabugxxx
I’m new here and having a bit of a problem because I don’t know a great deal about technology. Am trying to get an intro for my youtube videos and the people who make videos are all asking for types of images and I don’t understand. When I tell them I don’t know what they are talking about, they agree to do an intro without an image which is fine, but then they send me to a site to choose a font.Great, but how can I be sure that they have paid for commercial use of the font? or is it up to me to contact the font designer once the intro has been made and pay for it myself?Oh, and also, what is a “gig”?Thanks Shirley
miiila
Hi Shirley,You could ask them if they paid for commercial use of fonts, templates, whatever and if they can show you their license or some proof, in some cases the way that works is that they will buy the rights for you/your project specifically, but ultimately it comes down to finding and picking “the right seller”, someone who is trustworthy, which is an art by itself. Perhaps someone who does intros will reply and can tell you more. For general things like a glossary of terms (What is a “Gig”?), how ordering works etc., the ToS are a helpful read, as is Fiverr´s Help Center for Buyers:(link to the ToS:)https://www.fiverr.com/terms_of_service(link to the Buyer Help Center:)https://buyers.fiverr.com/en/

uk1000
Am trying to get an intro for my youtube videos and the people who make videos are all asking for types of images and I don’t understand.Maybe they thought you had an existing logo or something like that, that you would have wanted incorporated into your intro animation. I assume that’s why they were asking about the different types of image (such as a .png of it that could include transparency or a vector format (eg. .ai - from Adobe Illustrator) so it could be scaled to a particular size for use in the animation without pixelation/blurring.
