Am I supposed to get an email when someone orders a gig?

I’ve searched my email pretty thoroughly and I never got any notification of my first ever gig! I’m kind of disappointed! I checked my junk mail, deleted, spam folder… it’s not there. I wouldn’t have even known if I had a gig order if it were not for the “Your gig is late” email.

I have heard that it happens to some other buyers and sellers as well. I hope someone sees this post and could help you out.
