  1. an idea would be to have an account in WISE or N24 for example, where you can receive in multiple currencies. There, you can receive from your paypal account in USD (without loosing $ from the paypal's conversion fee). In the same account you can have different wallets for different currencies. So, after you receive in your USD wallet, you can move the money to your EU wallet, with an exchange rate which is really one of the best in the market, in addition to having the option to wait until you get a good rate between EU-USD, so you minimise loss even more. Then you can either withdraw the money from any european ATM with your Wise debit card, or send the money to your european bank account and withdraw from there. In addition, WISE fees for transfering money to another account is really low, so you save a bit there as well. I hope this helps.
  2. phone, Whatsapp, Whatever Communication That Does NOT take place in THE FIVERR PLATFORM can get your account suspendend (Read Terms Of Service). And as so many Fiverr users have written in a countless threads here in the forum, Clients who ask for communication away from the platform are to be avoided and reported, etc etc. and most probably are scum/spam You have learnt the hard way
  3. This 5 pg thread has been of the most valuable readings for me, i am new and all that you ppl have shared here, are Extremely Useful!! can't thank you enough
  4. @vickieito WOW!! very frustrating (the least i can say) and you got really lucky with the CS here! Tough experience, huge lesson though .. Thank you very much for sharing your experience. I have been using Fiverr from a separate browser, and have thought about a VM as @yourbrandingpal says and seems a good idea eventhough you say that still you can be compromised?? I am not a tech, but will look into it more carefully so that i minimise chances of getting compromised ..
  5. @vickieito I am very sorry this has happened to you!! i would be gratefull if you could share HOW this has happened to you here on Fiverr, so that we could be more aware and prepared! I know that my question is not absolutely relevant to the original subject of this thread, however i believe this info to be extremely valuable! that is of course if you are ok sharing a bit more about this. Thank you! 🙏
  6. Congratulations and may this be the beginning of a fun and creative journey and with many more success stories to come 🤙🙌
  7. i would also suggest to check on this topic if you haven't already done so, there are a few good ideas that might help you
  8. Today is my 30th day on Fiverr. No clients yet. The way i see it, is that i have been using all this time to get to know Fiverr, reading the forum (it is how i bumped on this thread 🙂 ) checking how others work, rethinking and replaning my gigs, etc etc. For sure this is NOT considered lost time for me, On The contrary, i have my gigs available online, and still learning how to improve myself, how to avoid mistakes, and in general how to be the best i can when the time comes. The more i journey around the platform the more i find out about things i haven't thought about and answers to questions that for sure i would have in the future! I am very grateful for this forum actually!! Also, i do not expect to earn my living from these gigs, at least not for now hehe. So i am not becoming impatient because this is my only path to earn a living. In addition, whenever you start ANYTHING new, ANYTHING, there is always a trial period. there is always a learning period, and always a waiting period. Let us newbies make the best out of this waiting time and enjoy this new adventure. taking it one step at a time. this is how i prefer to approach it.
