  1. That happens when no one is interested or clicking on your gig, or even bowering their mouse over it, your performance drops, and Fiverr decides that your gig is not interesting enough for clients and starts showing it less and less.

    If any order is canceled by Fiverr community, what will be the effects on the account of seller?

    Fiverr Community doesn't cancel any order. You might be wanted to say that cancelation by Fiverr Support. Well in that case read this,

    Let’s review the different types of cancellations.

    Buyer-requested cancellations: Buyers can request to cancel an order if it's marked as very late (24 hours or more). If sellers have already worked on the order, they may not receive payment.

    Seller-requested cancellations: Sellers can request to cancel an order, and it will be automatically canceled if the buyer doesn't respond within 48 hours. Sellers are encouraged to use the Order page or the Resolution Center to resolve issues with the buyer before contacting Customer Support.

    Mutual cancellations: Both buyers and sellers can request a cancellation through the Resolution Center if there are issues with the order. The other party has 48 hours to accept or decline the cancellation request, and if no response is received, the order is automatically canceled. If an agreement cannot be reached, customer support can be contacted.

    Forced cancellations: Different scenarios for canceling orders are described, including canceling before submitting project requirements, canceling if the delivery is late without mutual agreement, and canceling an order with an open dispute. The Resolution Center is recommended for resolving disputes.

    Cancellations & Seller Levels: When evaluating a seller, all cancellations are taken into account. We are aware that some cancellations are inevitable and those cancellations have a lower impact on a seller's performance scores.
    Learn more about how to decrease cancellations below.

    Sellers: Keep a steady OCR to build relationships with buyers and grow your business.
    Your OCR also enables you to track the quality of the service you’re providing.

    Note: There has been a recent update to the OCR calculation. Learn more with All About Order Completion.

    Tips to decrease cancellations: Here tips are provided to decrease cancellations, such as being clear about pricing and project requirements, effective communication, utilizing the Order page for modifications, setting reasonable delivery times, and utilizing the Availability feature.

    Note: This summary is based on the information provided in the Fiverr Help.

    In the marketplace, a Gig's position is based on the seller’s performance over a set period. Gig positions are not permanent and can rotate daily.

    There are many factors to take into consideration, some of which may include:

    Order cancellations
    Delivery rate
    Responsiveness
    The particular Gig’s maximum number of active orders in the queue, as based on your seller level.
    Other Gigs performing at a higher rate.
    If other sellers are ranked higher, they may be consistently getting 5-star feedback, delivering on time, communicating quicker, and so on. It all counts. For this reason, ensure that you provide high-quality and original work, avoid late deliveries and cancellations, are responsive, and always remain professional.

  4. You are only supposed to share your Gig link in the "My Fiverr Gigs" category - some share their Gig link in "Improve My Gig" as well.

    If you think sharing your Gig link on the forums is going to get you impressions or sales, you may want to rethink your strategy.

    Most people in the forum are sellers, not buyers.

    Quote

    Impression:
    When somebody searches anything through Fiverr “search engine” or via “category”, it shows 48 gigs at once (except the person clicked the “load more” button at the bottom) and all the 48 gigs (or more if he/she clicked on “load more” button) that showed received one impression. If the person refreshed the page again then the showed gigs received an impression, if anyone showed up before the show again, that is another impression to it, and so on. Then if your gig is among the showed ones that is when your impression counts.

    Clicks:
    Clicks count when somebody clicks on your gigs (i.e. your gig’s title) from Fiverr “search engine” results or a search result via “category”, and get to your gig’s page. In other words, if somebody searches for a particular “keyword” or searches via “category”, people’s gigs will impress (show), and if he/she clicks on any gig from the searched result (i.e impressed gigs) that gig he/she clicked on will receive a click. It is your gig, your gig clicks count.

    Views:
    Views are when your gig received a click from outside Fiverr's “Search engine” result and a search via “category”. In other words, let's assume that when your gigs impressed (shown) people and instead of clicking on your gig’s “title” straight, he/she clicked on your ‘user name’ and from your ‘user name’ then click on your “title” and get to your gig because he/she did not go to your gig straight from when it impressed rather he/she get to your gig through your “user name”, it will count as “Views” and not “clicks”, again if you run an “external advertisement” or “back-links” that brought visits to your gig’s page, it counts also as “Views” and not “Clicks”.

    Have it in mind that all these resets start afresh after 30 days.

    only quoting big chunks of advice written by others, without adding anything of your own

    I think it's better than spreading false advice (like being active 24/7 or posting something AI-driven (which you already mentioned in the reply) ). Actually, I don't achieve anything yet by which I can advise others with my real-life experiences, that's why.

    Yes, this is really bad practice. Sorry for this, I got it. From now on, I will try to change this style.

    and would greatly appreciate any tips or advice you might have for a new seller like me. How can I effectively promote myself and stand out from the competition?

    The first 5 things you should do when starting your Fiverr career,

    The first 5 things you should do, once you've decided to make it on Fiverr, according to a TRS (yes, that's me, at least as of now, March 2022, and since December 2018; not to brag, but just so you know that I must have done at least a few things right and might know what I'm talking about).

    1. Read Fiverr's Terms of Service (I’m a link to the ToS, click me and read, now!, then come back and read on.);
    2. Read all the articles in Fiverr's Help Center – the Seller and the Buyer section;
    3. Look at lots of Gigs in the category you want to sell in. Lots mean lots. Not just those in the top row;
    4. Think of your Fiverr business as a business. Because it is, or at least could be;
    5. Keep reading, analyzing, learning, thinking, and experimenting;

    PS: It shouldn't need saying, but, anyway, here goes: You need to bring a SKILL to the table. If you don't have one, then THAT is your goal #1-5. Get a skill. And if you want to make money from it, get a skill that sells, and make it a skill that YOU have at least a hint of a chance to sell here. Be a dreamer, if you can afford it, else, be realistic. 🍀
