all the reputable sellers know I'm right

I wouldn't describe myself as more reputable than you, and it's true you have received more reviews than I have. We do, however, share some similar badges, so I wouldn't say "all". I feel confident enough in my beliefs that I don't need to involve others to second my opinions.

Additionally, I made a clear distinction between "appearing online" and "being online." If these terms don't make a difference to you anymore, that's okay. According to my previous post, though, this distinction does affect most sellers. So, just it's not relevant to you doesn't mean they don't matter to others.

What I'm saying is that appearing to be online all the time wouldn't harm most sellers; in fact, it may make them more discoverable most of the time.

Whether this visibility can translate into actual sales is largely dependent on the seller's capability to close.

Taking the "....." as your self doubt?

This button is here for a reason: if one doesn't "appear online", they won't appear in search results for some potential customers doing a search.

Staying online does not help you to rank your gigs.

Being "online" all the time can give your gig and profile more visibility, increasing your chances of attracting more potential customers. However, getting higher rankings in the platform's algorithm depends not just on the amount of exposure, but also on the seller's ability to turn these leads into sales.

That said, there's a difference between "appearing online" and "being online." You don't have to respond to every message straight away, although quick responses can often help seal the deal.

However, for pro sellers like @filipdevaere, the situation is different. Most of their clientele approach them already aware of their status as professionals and are looking for such expertise. So, their "online" status doesn't impact their business too much.

  5. Being a full-time freelancer comes with its own set of challenges. I've been considering diving into full-time freelancing myself, but I'm interested in understanding how other freelancers manage specific logistical aspects.

    • How do full-time freelancers record and document their work experience and income?
    • What strategies do they use to navigate the complexities of tax filing, applying for loans, credit cards, or even providing references for potential future employment opportunities?

It would be great to hear from those with firsthand experience on these matters.

Please resolve my issue as student I totally depend on fiverr income as my University and daily expensive depend on fiverr funds.

It's understandable that you might feel stressed out in this situation. I'd probably feel the same if I were in your place. Yet, it's important to figure out a few things:

    • Have you possibly engaged in any activities that violate Fiverr's rules and regulations?
    • Can you confirm whether you have validated your identity with a legitimate ID?
    • Have you offered any services that might be considered illegal or illicit?

As for the withdrawal, I hope it works out for you. It is over a month of living expenses there.

  7. US buyers alone are responsible for 53.14% of Fiverr’s annual revenue

Fiverr primarily serves the U.S. market, and the additional tipping system generates more revenue for the platform. Therefore, I don't foresee Fiverr eliminating this feature.

Like you, I'm also unaccustomed to the tipping culture and I don't anticipate receiving tips. Even U.S. clients on Fiverr rarely tip.

  8. You really need to work on your Fiverr gig and improve it. You can use up to 1200 characters for your gig, but you've only used 352. This could be why you're not getting many orders.

Also, remember to write a FAQ section.

Moreover, try to keep your status as "online" on your mobile so people think you're always available. Some people don't think this is important, but in my opinion, it is.

Until you make an effort to make your profile better for potential customers, I don't think many people will feel bad for you.

Remember that there are things such as friend groups, "alternative" families, material and societal security nets of various kinds, etc. Could it actually be the fear of being alone/abandoned?

Times are shifting and my feelings are changing too. I'm not sure how a future, older version of me would handle being alone and ill at the same time.

I'm comfortable being alone but not sure about feeling abandoned. There's a certain freedom that comes with solitude that I enjoy. For instance, it gives me the freedom to do things like travel and set up new business offices. However, contemplating these very freedoms in the context of ill health and extreme solitude in old age leaves me uncertain.

  10. I don't plan on starting a family, and one thing that worries me is the thought of growing old, becoming ill, and dealing with it all by myself.

When I was younger, I had a plan of going to Switzerland to opt for euthanasia at 65, since it's legal there, but I don't think that way anymore.

I also thought about having a child through surrogacy in Ukraine or Russia (not anymore), but those plans aren't possible now.

I wonder, would my fear of "ageing, falling sick and being alone in old age" mentality be considered a phobia?

I'm not sure if it's been wonky to you but the inbox has been just sort of 'off' for me recently with messages getting mixed up with ones I sent before/etc. Maybe they are working on it or it's a weird glitch?

This is also happening to me. The messages got mixed up, and some of my answers (from my android phone) to clients disappeared and weren't sent.

  12. You can get in touch with the customer support team if you need to change the location. And if you want to change your phone number, it's pretty simple. You just have to go to 'settings', then 'security', and you can do it there. But remember, you need your old phone number to make the change yourself.

Otherwise, you will need to talk to customer support.

Changing phone numbers will not change your location tho.
