  2. Not sure who is "World's Top Fiverr Freelancer 2023: The Money In The Bank" today, but I will decide to pick who was the top Level 2 seller on Fiverr.

Fiverr 2023 Logo By Danny Kojima

Inspired by the World Wrestling Entertainment "Wrestlemania 38", and no. I don't watch WWE. But I like how WWE used for the show!

    Fiverr-2023.jpg

  3. It would be nice if Fiverr give us the option to invite our fellow sellers/buyers to watch movie together whenever we host a room in virtual theater in Oculus Quest 2 (VR). This mean you will have to bring your own popcorn, because I might have mine ready for it.

    1. dannykojima1

      dannykojima1

Oh, and just for a warning: Don't make me mute you in virtual movie theater. 😁 So, hush...

  4. Reporting a message from suspicious buyer whenever they asking to work outside of the platform is like hitting a report butting in whac-a-mole game on them. But one another keep popping up. Aren't you tired of scammers like that?

  5. Wow, I have been gone to the stars of the galaxy across the universe for 21 hours, and finally come back to Earth on Fiverr, and I forgot today is Friday!

TGIFF! (Thanks God, It's Freelancing Friday!) 😃

  6. Already bought a PS5 console on Facebook marketplace or eBay? Great, congratulation! Some of these people just bought it from the scalpers, and didn't realized they had wasted $2,000 on the stolen or banned console. And if they don't care about losing a $2,000 from scalpers who sold it to them because some people have a job pay more money $2,000 a months, then good for these people!

This is why I rather went to buy in store rather than ordering a $2,000 gaming console from somebody sold it on Facebook or eBay, and thinking they could rip me off that easily with ridiculous expensive price, more than normal price in electronic stores.

It is like people looking to buying stolen art from NFT thieve who sold cheap price to these people which they took from DeviantArt, but the artwork still has the watermark of the artist's name on it.

Gaming console scalpers and NFT thieves are the opposite worst type the artists and the companies have been dealing with it. Because they are making money off a million of dollars from companies and the artists. Of course, I am so glad DeviantArt are fighting back against NFT thieves. And so the game retailers are fighting back against PS5/Xbox Series scalpers. Of course, the new bills will make it illegal for console scalpers, see for more details from this 2021 articles here.

Whatever you see a cheap graphic cards, items, gaming consoles or a high end gaming PC on eBay or Facebook Marketplace, do not buy it. If you do -- you're just throwing your money away. Well, no one can stop you, because it's your money anyway, right?

And also, I do agreed with PayPal for permanently banned any sellers who had made about $2,000 or $15,000 a weeks on eBay. Just like one guy who had his $15,000 - $20,000 stuck in his PayPal account after PayPal freeze it for investigation on suspicious. He only had PayPal for about 3 years make that much money from eBay, and now accusing PayPal of stealing his money? Seriously? Good for PayPal! Keep fighting back against these scammers. This guy could be one of those scalper, attempted of selling hundred of thousands of gaming console by ripping people off on eBay.

I had my PayPal since 2010, and still active. And yes, PayPal do send me a notice letters once for verify my account and I did. And then they unfreeze my account. Now I can sell art from DeviantArt store and freelancing on Fiverr with no problem. Not all artists are lucky. Some do get their PayPal freeze due to suspicious of gambling, or whatsoever they shouldn't do.

Anyway, the U.S. Democrats need to do something about these bunch of scalpers. They are stealing stealing the sales money from the company and the retailers. I can hope that this will give more easier for regular consumers like myself to purchase a console for our love ones on Christmas and birthday gift.

  7. After reading about Sony Japan warning of PlayStation 5 scalpers and bot. Of course, these scalpers are the worst type will buying out almost all of PlayStation 5 gaming console which is draining Sony's stock, so the buyers like us couldn't buy it. These scalpers will then resell it with higher price to cheat out people's hard earns money on Facebook's marketplace.

Scalpers are like the thief version of NFT stealing art off DeviantArt site from artists who work hard to create art for living. The NFT thief then resell it cheaper I considered it as counterfeit art. These NFT thief usually re-sell it cheaper to draw away the people from buying art from the original artists on DeviantArt. That's why I'm so glad DeviantArt finally combating NFT thieves. So, yes, PS5 scalpers
are as worst as NFT art thieves in 2022. I don't know how does scalpers do that by buying the PS5 before people did. That's I'm sick and tired of waiting for Sony restocking of PlayStation 5.

F***ing hate scalpers and NFT thieves.

  8. What the different between Freelancing and selling art on DeviantArt?

Here is a Pro and Cons about being a freelance artist under company rules:
    Pros
    :
    1. Being your own boss.
    2. Doing whatever you can do without being told what to do or not to do.
    3. Getting a $20 tip from some return buyers? Congratulation!
    4. Pausing your gigs, so you can have a few days break or away on vacation.
    5. Set a limit on orders in queue to create less stressful.
    6. Wear any clothes whatever you want when working from home without worries about your boss smelling you.
    7. No dress code.

    Cons:
    1. You have to spend hours a day working on the artwork during the time started count-down before make a delivery.
    2. Sometime you don't always get commission from all different clients who come across your gigs.
    3. You will never know what going to happen, sooner or later your account will may be ban for breaking the Company's Terms of Service.
    4. The company will always side with the buyers/clients. Not you (as a seller).
    5. You get scam most of the times from shady buyers when they disputed an order for refund via Customer Support after half way complete the project.
    6. Your account get permanently restricted for working outside of the company which is goes against the company's policy. I mean, it's a good things to work inside of the company rules! So the two of you don't have to create a Mexican standoff between you and the buyer.
    7. You cannot have more than 1 account.
    8. Dealing with impatient buyers, threatening to dispute the order for a refund.
    9. When your account get permanently restricted, you can never create another account to freelance ever. Ever. Your whole online career is pretty much done. Time for you to move on, find a job.
    10. Company take some of your earnings after complete delivery to a buyer.
    11. Dealing with angry buyers threaten you to Customer Support to get your account restricted.

Pro as an artist on DeviantArt.
    1. Sell your art through Premium download with whatever price you want!
    2. Sit back, relax, watch movie or playing video game while buyers and fans downloading your art prints and Premium art with whatever price you created.
    3. People will keep coming back to buy your art on your DeviantArt store when you're away on vacation.
    4. Feel good about being. Your. Own. Boss!
    5. Get commissions from all different buyers with whatever you set up.
    6. Create many commissions with price as much as you want for the buyers to place an order.
    7. Create many Tiers (Subscribers) as you wanted and you can charge them $6.99 - $19.99/month. Tier is a good place for your subscribers to join for a lounge hangout, chat, etc.
    8. Create your own group for your fans.
    9. Having a system NFT protect got your back, and protecting your art without worries about thief try to steal it for profit on NFT sites.
    10. DeviantArt doesn't take few of your earnings for themselves. The money is all yours! Cool, right?
    11. Create journal updates for your fans.
    12. Post status update to keep your fans update about your art or your story.
    13. You can have 1 or 2 more accounts on DeviantArt, as personal such as buying art or for selling art and commission work.
    14. You may share your art to only those friends you only wanted to share. No one else can see it unless you send them a link of your Sta.sh.
    15. Withdraw money from PayPal and/or Bitpay to your bank account.

    Cons:
    1. The site is confused if you're new to DeviantArt.
    2. Not able to sell your art unless you pay $9.95/month for a Pro membership.
    3. No NFT Protection for your art without a Core or Pro membership.
    4. Have to wait for few days for DeviantArt to processing your earnings after you completed a delivery to buyers. It happen to me a lot, so I never withdraw my money anyway.

  9. I'm surprised some artist (on DeviantArt) are getting confused with LLC license when submit the artwork on the site. When the artist mentioned that someone stole her art and she couldn't do anything about it, then turned to DeviantArt staff for help. But she was told that they couldn't do about it either, because she didn't turned on the LLC option before submitted the artwork on the site, just right before a thief grabbed it for profit on NFT site.

This is why the artist should always put a checkmark on "LLC license" as a Default via Publishing Option which is mean no one can use without Creative Commons License. This is why I turned off Download options and put dA's watermark as well for every of my artwork I upload on DeviantArt site! This is why this make it harder for thief to grab it.

  10. I understand it cheaper to buy [stolen] art from a site whatever a thief sold it to you, but once the original artist like myself shut them down with DMCA take down action, …your art becoming useless, because you do not have a proper commercial license to use it. Your art will always a counterfeit. And fake. Because the artwork still has the artist’s watermark on it.

If you want to use the artwork for your book, game, music or for personal use — then buy it from the original artist on DeviantArt, Fiverr or Etsy. Not from someone who sold you cheaper. It is like when someone couldn’t afford a $1,500 iPhone from Apple but decided to buy a $200 counterfeit ripoff iPhone from a black market.

This is why piracy such as pirated version of Adobe programs, film, music, pirated games, stolen art and counterfeit become a big problem today in America.

  11. Tackles NFT art thieves: DeviantArt is now combating stolen art on NFT. Now, this is great news for all artists on DeviantArt; especially those who are pay Core and Pro members. You may read more on DeviantArt for details here.

    1. dannykojima1

      dannykojima1

I have many of my art stolen on NFT for many times where the thieves try to sell it on Amazon (with their clothing brands) and on Walmart. However, I'm glad I created DMCA to take action and Walmart took it down. Of course, it work if you are already a paid Core or Pro member.

You may use this link to fill out a DMCA form to take action on OpenSea.

  12. Autumn Misery is a legends. The story of a lonely young girl living in the woods. She was the daughter of Rosbes, an Elven Queen who were killed by a Dragon King during the war between men, Elven and dwarves and orcs. Her mother hid her away on the little boat floating into river to the forest and was picked up by the beautiful mother Grizzly with two of her cubs. They raised her.

She lived in the woods all her life with the wild animals as well with Snow Wolves, Grizzley, Snow Rabbits and Snow Eagles. She was also a best friends with two silly little fairies too when she found them locked up in the bird cage before they were feed to the vultures by the pirates.

  14. "The Dwarves used to said they heard someone singing an Elegy song through this forest. They were wrong. I walked through by following the lake, water flowing under the bridge where it lead me to witness a beautiful Elven woman playing a flute for her deceased husband. I can felt sadness through her. Her face tell it all with such anger in her. The sadness on her face when she playing a flute as she sitting on the tree log in front of her husband's grave.

I can feel the winds blowing to my face when she playing a flute. Luckily she didn't see me because I hid in the green leaf bushes with this silly Dwarf next to me.

This forest. I don't know. No one ever tell me what forest this is, excepted a Dwarf I spoke to at the Inn. Keeper. He said this song called Arcus. I mean, what was this mean? I never get a chance to ask a village folk what does Arcus really mean..."

  15. Whenever I'm not doing commission art. I enjoy creating art to entertainment myself when I'm bored.

    What is entertainment art?
Entertainment art is known as Entertainment Design which is relatively new field combing animation, game design, and concept art for film and television use.

I create whatever art that will entertainment myself and others; especially those who enjoy viewing the art and curious what was the background story behind the artwork. It's like you're reading a book. Watching film/show.

In Sarah's world of "The Last Stand: Vengeance", I will post more to following her story; a journey during the post-apocalyptic most brutal world where she have to live through everyday to stay alive and survive from the horde of infected, the gangs, the threat of other groups, road bandits, the sick (people who are sick in the head), murderers (mostly from psychopaths or criminally insane people who pose as a hitchhikers), a group of religious cults, Scavengers and the Hunters (the cannibal).

She was at least later found Brian (who is her long time companion), her most trusted after he got her escaped from the gas station where she was trapped inside when the horde of infected trying to break into the gas station where Sarah trying to barricade herself and block the main doors.

Brian is the former retired U.S. Marine and he was supposed to station in Maine before everything went down. And the U.S. National Guards failed to maintain evacuation after been overruns by the horde of infected. However, Brian and 3 other U.S. Army National Guards men and women including a 3 civilians were the only survivors escaped from the camp where the C.D.C. and the National Guards station there to treated the patients, but no one alive.

The only important to Sarah is to find her younger brother Alex, who is 18 years old. He has been gone missing for a month at the summer camp with his school, on the trip that day before everything went down. He is the only brother she has now. And he is now more important to Sarah. The good things is that Brian will always go along with Sarah, make sure she's safe. But she wasn't a type of a woman Brian thinks who need any protection from any men.

Well, I'm still working on creating Sarah character artwork along with Brian and Alex. So Sarah's parents as well.

  16. "Vengeance" comic character portrait art by Danny Kojima

This is a story of Sarah, the main female protagonist character who was lost in the most brutal post-apocalyptic world all by herself, after the virus spreading across the world and everything went down.

During the aftermath, Sarah was the only survivor traveling on her father's Harley Davidson motorcycle he left it for her in the garage before he died. After Sarah buried her father in the backyard of their home, she travel across the country road to looking for her brother Alex in Auburn county, a small town in California which was over taken by the infected.

She have seen a lot of things happening in her neighbors and saw her own mother turned into an infected after she was bitten.

Sarah was a survivor, and a loner, but she has combat and surviving skills after accidentally ran into a trap and killed two infected. She also killed few bandits who tried to rob her. Of course, killed the same man -- the leader who killed her father who was a police officer.

I'm planning to work on another version of Sarah, with full body character concept art with her holding the crossbow (one of her favorite weapon). The new concept art of Sarah will be post once the art is complete. And also, the character artwork of Alex (her younger brother) and Brian, the man who saved Sarah from trapped into the gas station when infected trying to eat her.

Nice! Do you do a lot of game art @dannykojima1? What type of art do you mostly do?

    2. dannykojima1

      dannykojima1

Hi @vickieito! Yes, I enjoy creating game fanart for the fans to enjoy collect them, sometime the private client will commission me to create game character art for them for personal use for their game blog and vlog, etc. I most likely focusing on creating retro pin-up art and comic characters art for my story.

Oh, and sometime I will just paint a portrait of Facebook friends and make them looks retro with big hairstyle, clothing and create them wearing sunglasses. 🙂

  18. Just rent The Batman and watched it on YouTube this weekend, but damn... this movie was too good! I was little skeptical about the whole film after new characters, but I gotta admit that Robert Pattinson did Batman very well than Christian Bale did from the last 3 Batman films in 2008.

I have to buy the movie and try it on Oculus Quest 2, and it will be worth a watch together with friends on Facebook; especially those who has Oculus Quest 2, so we can watch it on 3D in virtual movie cinema!

  19. Sadly, Adobe had end of technical support for Adobe Muse CC beginning March 26 2020. Even though Adobe Muse CC is still one of the greatest app, and can still been download from the Adobe website and use for web-design. Although the Adobe users can still able to download the 2020 version of Adobe Muse CC as well, unless the users are still on the monthly plan like myself with Adobe Creative Cloud started at $29.99/month.

I find Adobe Muse CC is more easier and comfortable to work with than designing a website on Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2022, because I don't have any experience with CSS coding in Adobe Dreamweaver CC.

However, with the Adobe Dreamweaver CC - you can still able to create a beautiful website, art portfolio, AND, re-design a mockup AOL retro website and playing around like you're pretending you still living those days in the '90s! But creating a retro website may take a lot of times because you have to designs a logo, web icons and symbols for using in the web-template design. Yes, I'm still learning to design a websites and use it for design a web for buyers on Fiverr. I'm sure you'll probably thinking I might going to make another comeback with Fiverr Online Marketplace AOL mockup! This isn't going to happen, but it sure fun to create those '90s website though!

Here are few Adobe apps the designers need to understand about designing a unique and beautiful website such restaurant web-journal, a personal website, company website, art portfolio, store website, online store etc. These tools will help keep you busy designing the artwork for a web site such contents, banner and ads.

    1. Adobe Photoshop CC 2022
      • Graphic design and also great for planning a web templates to create a website.
      • Digital Painting and sketching/drawing.
      • Easy to create a web banner.
      • Create your own animation.
      • Photo editing.
      • Book cover design.
      • Creating art for music album cover.

    2. Adobe Illustrator CC 2022
      • Great apps for designing a sharp and clean company logo.
      • Many great tools to design a web icons and symbols for a website, like designing a shopping cart for your online store for example.
      • You can create all different kind of logo with Adobe Illustrator. It's an amazing app for most graphic design and professional logo designers.

    3. Adobe Dreamweaver CC
      • This. Is a great Adobe app every web-designers use it for creating a professional web-sites for the clients all over the world.
      • Easy to work with HTML coding and CSS if you understand coding.
      • Easy to add a video content to your website.
      • Easy to design a web templates and layouts without coding. Although the Adobe Muse CC is still the top No.1 web design apps for every person never have a chance to learn HTML and CSS coding, because Adobe Muse allow users to design a web-site by dragging and drop the and adding your own art, photo or graphic artwork to the contents to the website without worry about typing a codes.
      • Allow users to preview their webpage to see what will the final looks like when publish a web to the internet for the world to see.
  20. Talking about gaming when I wanted to take a break from creating art. These are my top favorites  PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, including PC games I've played. I'm also looking forward to the new games coming on fall 2022 and 2023! However, I was not a big fan of online multiplayer, PvP game or whatever you called it. Because I felt that online game is a waste of time, and it take my hours away from my art.

I just couldn't spend more than 2 hours in online. I'm the guy who enjoy the single player games, so I hate that word to be honest. I'm more of the casual gamer. I don't like spending too much hours gaming, but single player (storyline) is my favorite games, feel like I'm watching movie!

Top favorite PlayStation 4 games I've played in 2020 so far.
Red Dead Redemption 2 (Story Mode). I never got the time for online anyway, and I hate the online version to be honest.
    • The Last Of Us: Remastered - My all time favorite survival horror game of all time!
    • The Last Of Us Part 2
    • Horizon Zero Dawn
    • Detroit: Become Human
    • Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
    • Uncharted: The Lost Legacy -
Oh, I almost forgot... This game and the A Thief's End will be coming to Steam and Epic Games this year.

Top upcoming PlayStation 5 games I'm looking forward to it!
The Last Of Us Part 1 (Remake) coming on September 2, 2022. Also Sony announced that the PC version is currently in development. So PC gamers are in luck, unlike the PlayStation 4 users who are not going to be able to put their hands on the new game since it only coming to PlayStation 5 and PC only.

Top favorites PC games on Steam and Epic Games.
Saint Row (2022) will release on August 23, 2022.
The Sims 4 series is my all time favorites PC game. I love designing architecture and house. It's a fun game, but I can't put too much times into the game. But I enjoy playing on free times!
    The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - I freakin' love this game. I enjoy playing this game while back in 2016, and it is such a beautiful game. Of course, I'm looking forward to the remake which is created in Unreal Engine!
Resident Evil 2 remake version released in 2019. And looking forward to the Resident Evil 4 remake version release on March 24, 2023.
Planet Coaster - Yes, this game is super fun! I also created my own version of Disney World! And yes, I have bought all of the DLC on Steam for this. Love ithe
The Last Of Us Part 1 - Didn't I mentioned this remake game is coming to PC? YES, I'm so excited for this game. I believe Naughty Dog will going to use the same combat mechanics from The Last Of Us Part 2 (PlayStation 4) for a remake which make the game more alive than the classic PlayStation 3 version which originally released in 2013. I guess I'll have to buy some issue box too, because this game going to make me cry!
    CyberPunk 2077
    • Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose DLC (3rd Person mode) is coming on October 28th, 2022 this year.

Now, I'm looking forward to get No Man's Sky (Steam) and Horizon Forbidden West (on PlayStation 5) when I take a long vacation break from creating art!

Here is my personal top favorite PlayStation 4 and PC games of the year which deserved the PlayStation Award and PC Gamers: Game Of The Year Award.
The Last Of Us: Remastered (PlayStation 4)

  23. The internet age from 30 years ago may not be perfect for most freelancers, and it is impossible for them to send and/or receive files from clients. However, I guess I failed to make it clear about being freelancer in the 90's era. So, let imagine this... if Fiverr happened to existed 30 years ago, wasn't only just a freelancer. But the site probably created as the first test beta for social network for people all over the the world to come together. Maybe Fiverr probably has about 500,000 up to nearly a millions start joining. Then later it announced that the site now give children and adults to make money on the sites.

Think about this: Fiverr in the 90's created one room for children who are looking to become kidpreneur on the site, and children can make friend with other kids. Adult on another hand in different rooms can also sign up for an accounts to have their own business as a freelancers on the site. Of course, these seniors and college students are the parents of these kidpreneurs on the site as well, and that's why Fiverr created "Parents Control" which is mean they can manage their children's activity on Fiverr chatroom (in the 90's).

To be a freelancer on Fiverr in the 90's doesn't mean it force you to upload the artwork, the writing contents, graphic design over the internet to the buyers. The rules is simple. When a buyers want to order a writings content for their resume, or any other things to use for their business. They can just place an order on the seller's gig. Fill out a requirement what they need the seller to do the job for them. Once the seller finish the art, book writing contents, script writing, music instrument sounds with cassette tape recording, voice acting via cassette tape recording. They can take it to the UPS or the post office and make a delivery to the buyers from another different country.

When the buyers receive their project through mail, then they will leave a reviews on sellers' Fiverr Online Marketplace profile if they are happy with the project. Hope this make it sense now. And yes, internet is impossible for freelancers to make it quick delivery, but make a delivery through post office is the only option!

  24. Ever wonder what would Fiverr would be like in the 90's when you're still a kid and working as a freelancer on a Windows 3.1x released in 1992? Well, those days were the golden age of these internet and it's now gone 30 years ago.

Well, I'm also looking forward to create one 1990's version of Facebook and the black and white version of Fiverr after finish some of my art for my DeviantArt store.

Oh yeah, and you might noticed vickieito and nomuffinsforyou appear on the buddies list on the Fiverr Chat Lol.

Hey there, @vickieito! Very good question. I used Adobe Photoshop CC 2022 and Adobe Illustration CC 2022 (latest updated version for the fun retro technology mockup). And I love creating stuff like that a lot!

I have been working on both programs since high school while back in early 2000s when my art teacher recommended me to learn new art medium with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator on the Mac G3 before I got a work experience at SacBee, it was my first job there. Since you brought that up, I will be creating mockup products step-by-step for my YouTube channel and teach beginners how to work with both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CC.

With the retro AOL mockup designed, believe it or not? I designed a CD from scratch from ground built up, since I couldn't find a CD on Google, because it is impossible for me to remove and replace my mockup design to replace AOL on the CD (lol). So I designed a CD in Adobe Illustrator CC, then copy and paste it in Adobe Photoshop CC. So that's how I design a CD with Photoshop to make the CD artwork looks real as possible.

With the retro AOL web mockup, I used Adobe Photoshop to designed the templates and the layouts by using many layers and Art Board a lot. Most AOL icons, I used Adobe Illustrator to designs without take it from Google since those image are too blurry! So I rather design it with my own internet icons and symbols graphic image for using in Adobe Photoshop.

Anyway, since you asked -- from now on, I will be using OBS (Opening Broadcast Studio) screen recording to record my process and will post them on YouTube and post the link on here for you and @nomuffinsforyou, so you both can learns how to work with Photoshop and Illustrator for your designs on Fiverr! 😉

@vickieito, sorry, I almost forgot to mentioned "The Da Vinci" portrait painting. I used Wacom Cintiq 13HD tablet to paint a portrait of Leonardo in Adobe Photoshop CC which took me a year to complete since I have been struggle to catch up with the portrait due to the concept art I have to designed video game characters for the small company claimed they are doing a demo for Bethesda (the creator of Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Fallout). I find it hard to believe the CEO owner claimed that he has some friends and connections at Microsoft, Ubisoft and EA Games. But his project of the game demo for Bethesda never complete! It's has been 4 years and never completed either.

It pissed me off that this guy using other artists from ArtStation to create art for him, but I'm glad one artist from ArtStation messaged me on Facebook warning that this guy is a bogus. That's why I left his so-called company. And some artist (who worked for Assassin's Creed and Friday the 13th: The Game) refused to join this guy's company because they knew he was a fraud and a fake. When I used to work with the guy at the time I was an art director, I have to called him to setup the meetings for artists, designers and including him which is important for me to discuss about the game project. And guess what? This guy, keep making an excuses that he was still driving and will call me back when he get home. But never call. Never at once. Then I saw him posting pictures of him with his buddies like he was on a road trip, enjoying the lifestyle right after he told me he was at the hospital!

It surprised me that he was banned from several Facebook art groups from different admins, because he was spamming the groups about his company is hiring artists. I'm glad I had put him on a blacklist so I can avoid working with people like him in the future.
