  1. Yep, it is important to reply to messages when you see them, even if you are telling them that you can't do what they are asking for. A quick way to quickly reply without spending too much time worrying about the request is to use the Quick Response function. However, if the buyer is asking something against TOS, being unreasonable, rude or spamming then you can report them or block the user. This should not affect your response rate.
  2. What seems to be the issue? The score out of 10 is the actual score you got on the test. The top percentage part is showing what percentile you are in compared to the rest of people who took that test. I'd imagine the illustrator exam is harder than the wordpress test, so getting a 7.8 puts you in the top 10% of test takers whereas the 7.8 was only top 20% for the wordpress test.

  4. Its annoying that so many buyer requests that are blatantly against TOS still make it through and get 100s of responses from sellers. There really should be an option for sellers to report buyer requests for breaking TOS or flag them as spam. Buyer requests could be a great tool to help buyers be more specific with their exact needs and find matching buyers but its so overwhelmed with spam, at least in my categories.
  5. We can't say for sure, but personally I don't think it will have a significant effect just because it would then be easy to abuse that mechanic against other sellers.
  6. Your gig is in an extremely saturated category. There are thousands and thousands of gigs offering the exact same thing. What makes you stand out? What are you doing better? To be completely honest I would recommend finding another category that you are qualified in and can provide great service in. Please don't recommend these groups. They are spam and designed to game the system but I have yet to see any evidence that they work considering most of the people who promote them on here have little to no sales.
  7. When editing the gig description there is a limit of 1200 characters. Make sure you are under this. What parts of the description is missing? I have noticed that if you include symbols/emojis in the description it doesn't always display correctly when editing.
  8. After the buyer accepts your delivery they are prompted to leave a review. This is the review that gets shown on your profile and gig pages. However a short time later, Fiverr will also ask the buyer for more feedback. This feedback is private. Neither you, or other buyers can see this information. Perhaps a buyer will have feelings about the service that they didn't want to mention on a public review and so Fiverr wants to try and understand this information. Nobody knows for sure how this private review affects your account but it is safe to assume that an order with a 5* Public review and a negative private review will be seen as less favourable than an order with a 5* public review and a positive private review. So how can you improve this? Provide great service and create work that your buyers love! Do NOT ask your buyers to leave you a good review, or even hint about it. Because you can not see this review, there really isn't much point worrying about it anymore than your public reviews.
  9. 1: No, its often spam and unlikely to find you a buyer. 2: No, you don't need to send 10 requests. Only ever respond to a request if it is something you can accomplish, with an appropriate time and budget requirement for your work. Taking on orders that you are not qualified for is not helpful. It will leave the seller stressed and the buyer unhappy. 3: Nope, whilst you can learn a lot from the forum, being active here makes NO difference to your orders. You won't get orders by commenting on every post on the forum. Most people on the forum are sellers and even if there was a buyer looking through the forum, it is unlikely they would be convinced to buy a gig from somebody who spams a forum. Also I have seen 0 evidence that being online constantly on Fiverr itself is useful for getting more sales. Just go online when you are working or check occasionally throughout the day. 4: The only correct advice here in that of course you should always strive to improve. But even that isn't a requirement for getting your first order.
  10. It seems like your gigs generally fit into the overall category of graphic design so you could put that as your skill if you wanted to. That being said, there are some stuff I would change. This is information buyers can already see on your profile. Doesn’t really say anything as being professional and delivering on time is expected. The available 24/7 part shouldn’t be something you are aiming for either as it isn’t possible. This is fine but could probably just be put in the gig descriptions. Overall I would use the description differently, use it to quickly introduce your buyers to yourself and give them a general idea of who you are and what you do.
