  1. I happened to know how these stuffs works. You are right, but what I meant, I checked my self in different locations and with friends, in Saudi Arabia, then Canada, then other cities in Germany, then Belgium, then Argentina , I didn't mean VPN. (I forgot Italy and a Sweiss friend in the middle of the ocean 😅) The results was about the same! Maybe they mean different planets. I didn't have any body on Mars the check it.
  2. One of the things Fiverr frequently claims is its search's fluid results. I checked it from a few different countries, some of which were quite far away, and that wasn't That fluid. I mean not like search result pages, but a few gigs back or forward... These scammers are as numerous, at least in my category of animation, which has real sellers invisible. Even though Fiverr ignore them, they are still there, and because of the quantity, they make real sellers drown. I dunno, maybe Fiverr could employ some gamification... or some other indirect way to inform customers of that. Even better, I'll create a free animation to raise awareness of this problem.🤷‍♂️
  3. Right. I don't have enough time to look for "every" phony job either, but I can probably do it once or twice a week. Additionally, it will be much cleaner than it is currently now if the community supports Fiverr in this regard. You know, I believe that some scammers in some nations claim that it is "easy to scam on Fiverr," which is why we see a lot of them. When I say a lot, I'm referring to the fact that, at least in my field of character animation, about 1/4th or, on some pages, even 1/3rd of sellers, are like that. This sounds like a serious problem! The only way to help Fiverr with this, in my opinion, is to report them, thus I believe the community should do so. Perhaps Fiverr could make an indirect request to the community. Maybe by bolding that flag, I dunno.🤔
  4. I appreciate all of your valuable advice. I'm grateful.🙏 Are you certain about "Myth #2" though? Because I managed to persuade you that a cancellation would seriously harm your performance. Even after that, I used CS to help me cancel a few projects, and even those cancellations had a negative impact on my account. (despite the cs's assurance of no negative impacts) The cancellation, I believe, is the worst possible outcome for a seller on Fiverr's algorithm. On Fiverr, it's kind of like an unspoken rule.
  5. Right and right! If I recall well, I asked for help with somewhat related concerns two or three times. There were some resellers who in some way held this "feedback system" and I hostage by demanding extra work or by coercing me into accepting their future projects. When CS looked into it, they told me that I was correct and that they would assist me by canceling and erasing the bad review if this kept happening. (My customers didn't even directly threaten me, but they could tell by looking)
  6. What about the part I wrote "They can check and see if you are on the right side"? As I experienced myself and CS had good promises regarding to such situation. From what we can understand so far, from this thread, which is very common unfortunately, it is clear that some buyers do so. And that sticks for ever, on your profile. CS will go and read and make their decisions.
  7. Do you even sell anything on Fiverr yourself? as it appears from your response that you are not truly sympathetic to the seller's plight. "Maybe there WAS something that the buyer didn't like? Maybe they just didn't want to be talked to - honestly you never know. "You yourself are claiming that the buyer was dishonest. Neither as a seller nor a buyer, Fiverr is not a place for dishonest people! The customer should just specify what they require, and if necessary, they may even receive a refund. not merely stating "Wow! Amazing "and then submitting a negative review with a rating of two stars that remains up forever, and no one knows what was going on between them.
  8. How much was the price on your gig? This can be suspicious and if the price was low, it might be an incentive for a competitor to do such a thing to you. I think if you contact the Fiverr support, they will help by deleting this buyer's review. They can check and see if you are on the right side.
  9. Greetings to all. I am Majid, a full-time motion graphics artist and animator on Fiverr. I also engage in 3D modeling. I've spent the last four years on Fiverr working in these disciplines purely as a daily student. I put a lot of effort and time into learning, and I'm still doing it. But the invasion of scams on Fiverr is what annoys me and prompted me to create this essay. I believe that they play a significant part in wasting my time and energy as well as that of everyone else who uses Fiverr daily to work and and try hard to learn everyday to advance their careers. Please search "Character Animation" on Fiverr for example. You will come across a lot of scam gigs very early on page 2, along with videos from Hollywood and Pixar and Japanese anime! Something that they obviously doesn't own and have no right to upload as their work samples! The gigs of real performers are hardly noticeable among these frauds and we are losing the competition in getting first see attention and clicks to these gigs! In addition, Fiverr is being degraded in every aspect by this. Speaking of my own gig, each and every consumer who visits Fiverr in search of animation or explainer videos will encounter this scam since they are aware that it is impossible to produce a multi-million dollar video for just $100. They will therefore dismiss the Fiverr page and go for another freelance website because it was all just for laughs. Although the rules of service for fiverr require us to utilize original content and have no concerns with copywriting, it appears that they are powerless to control this problem, and I believe it's time for the community to take action.
