  1. Avoid making rookie spelling and grammar errors when conversing with potential and existing clients. It may give the impression that you don’t pay attention to details. So, ALWAYS double-check for grammatical errors before pressing send. To improve your grammar command, you can start by learning these 31 common mistakes that most people make and how to improve them: https://www.indeed.com/career-advice/career-development/common-grammar-mistakes Also, you can install a Grammarly plugin in your web browser to help you find and correct errors in your written work.
  2. Hey, Since I'm in a totally different subcategory, I may not have the right niche-specific advice to give you. But here's something I can suggest. If you have the Premium Seller Plus Package, you can schedule a meeting with your seller success manager, and they can guide you on the specific areas that you can work on based on the overall performance of your gigs. I get so much value from that one-on-one call. You can send your Seller Success Manager a detailed email beforehand to let them know what you'd like to discuss in the Zoom meeting. That will give them ample time to go through your account, analyze your stats (including the private buyer satisfaction rate), and give you tips on improving your performance.
  3. You're welcome! I'm happy I could help.
  4. Staying online 24 hours is terrible advice! Take it from someone who got the same bad advice when I started. Just try to optimize your business hours and respond to messages as fast as you can during this time-preferably in less than an hour. Then take time to rest and recharge in the evening. Not getting enough sleep is bad for your creativity, productivity, and overall health.
  5. This took me back to when I started out on Fiverr in 2018. I used to be obsessed with my response time stat. I would wake up at 1 am or 2 am to respond to my clients. I would even connect my phone to a Bluetooth speaker on most nights when going to sleep so that I wouldn't miss a notification.😂 I was a bit of an extremist. But after doing that for a couple of months, I started noticing a decline in my productivity and quality of work. That's when I began to appreciate the importance of logging off and getting some good quality sleep. I mean, what good is your response time if you don't unplug and recharge? A healthy work-life balance is just as important. It will help unlock a renewed sense of creativity and passion for your work.
  6. My seller success manager shared with me some time back that the Buyer Satisfaction Rate doesn't reset after a specific period like the other stats (Delivered On Time, Order Completion, etc) do after 60 days. What you can do instead of waiting around to see if the stat eventually gets better is actively working towards improving the BSR one order at a time. After delivering your order, you can message your buyers to see if they got the kind of services they were expecting. Also, inquire about areas they'd like you to improve on. Something like, "Hey, I want to ensure I have provided you with the services you were expecting. In case you need any revisions or changes, please don't hesitate to let me know. " That gives you a window to work on revisions and make any necessary changes before the order is marked as complete. I hope this helps!
  7. Hey Everyone, I want to share one of my favorite tricks for finding trending keywords in my niche- Writing and Translation. (Ps: This strategy is applicable for any category/subcategory) i) Open an Incognito tab in your browser and search Fiverr.com. Make sure you're not logged into your account. ii) You will see a search bar labeled 'Search for any service' on the first page, as illustrated in the attached image. iii) Type in any keyword that represents your niche or aligns with your services. For instance: Web development, AI Service, Logo Design, and so on! *But don't press the Enter button yet. iv) Fiverr will auto-recommend suggestions based on the search tags most buyers use on the platform to find services in your category. Here's an Example: In the case of the navigational query I input (refer to the attached image), you can see that when I search 'Content Writer, ' some of the suggestions I'm getting include; 1. Content writer for website 2. Medical content writer 3. Finance content writer 4. SEO content writer 5. Youtube content writer 6. Hindi content writer 7. Amazon content writing You can use some of the keyword suggestions you get here in your Meta Tags or SEO Title to boost your visibility. Also, you can click on any of the suggested keywords from the search query to see how many gigs are in that category and gauge if you have a good chance of ranking for that specific keyword. Have a lovely day, and good luck! 😀
  8. I personally don't like the 'Extend Review Period' feature very much. Here's why: Most of my clients are misusing the feature. I've had a client extend their review period four times now. Each time with 2 or 3 days. It's frustrating every time they do that. I have tried to communicate with them via inbox to find out if there are experiencing certain issues, but there's no communication from their end. So, I agree with the majority here. This feature should work two-way through the resolution center. The buyer should communicate and let you know they need more time to review your order, and at that point, you can agree on how many days they can get. The same thing happens when we sellers need to extend the delivery date. Otherwise, some buyers are likely to misuse this feature. Some sort of moderation should be set in place. Or a limit to how many times they can use the feature.
