Since 2020 it's not working well, I think pandemic increased the quantity of sellers aswell. I am speculating on this, but I think Fiverr is taking advantage on the large quantity of sellers and select what they think are good for they own proposals. Now there's one more filter stage to get to the sellers because you can't have the option to reply to these requests, only you will have the opportunity if Fiverr lets you.

Exactly!!! But if it's still Beta, why to cut Buyer Request that was working well for years!

2 Briefs for me, wich one of them the buyer didn't being online for 2 days. Also I posted a Brief as a buyer in wich Fiverr said there were no sellers with the criteria I'm searching... I was asking for a logo... do you think there's no logo makers in Fiverr?

Well the main difference is that you had your own decision regarding wich requests to apply, now Fiverr will decide if you are good or not in the first place.

I had serious buyers from $10 to $500 and non-serious buyers from $10 to $500 aswell,

Do you think Briefs will attract only serious buyers? Can I ask you why?

I set Briefs from $10, but if I don't receive Briefs for that amount I don't think I will receive Briefs for $200.

Happened to me aswell, both as a buyer and as a seller

Well not sure about how it works, it's just Fiverr AI wich will decide wich one will get wich request. I think this is limiting the opportunities for all of us.

Hi @vickieito, thanks for your reply in this post. I'm a seller in Fiverr since 2012 so I have been through all the changes. Buyer Requests was a really good improvement to the system and competitive fair for most sellers. So far I have received two briefs so in this case Buyers Requests was far more helpful bussiness-wise to me at least (And I'm sure a lot of you aswell) than Briefs. As a buyer I made a Brief recently and I received only two offers (with Buyers Requests I received a lot more offers and very diverse). So my experiences are not good in both cases sadly.

What do you think? I would love to listen to your opinions and personal experiences with Buyer Requests vs Briefs

Fiverr will match what they consider ideal for a seller/buyer relation, so it's matter of crossing fingers really. It's a real bummer. Also as a buyer myself, I sent a Brief and only received two options, neother of the two were competitive so it seems isn't working for buyers aswell

I received just one brief and the buyer is been offline for 10 hours already, so not promising much.

Thanks for all the helpful information. I have two questions. First, I have been doing fine untill March, 2022. Wouldn't the performance drop in an exponential way? Second, if keywords are not of such relevance, why the new analytics of Seller Plus emphasize the keyword improvement of the gigs?

Why buyer cancellation has to affect the seller? Seller cancellation affects the seller but also buyer cancellation. Sometimes buyers are not honest, sometimes they just want to walk with the work done for free or try ideas for free. It happened to me several times that I followed the exact buyer directions and at the end he didn't wanted the work. Maybe the buyer realized his ideas wasn't good enough, not sure. Audio workers have the most disadvantage to cancellations because there's no audio watermark. There was a period when I added a personal audio watermark to works delivered untill the were accepted. Buyers didn't wanted the watermark and warned to cancel the work if watermark was still on the audio track they requested. Can FIverr consider audio watermark for this matter? Also can consider buyer cancellation not to affect seller's rating?

Hi, I recently have been contacted by a buyer. He wanted to hire me for recording guitars. He demanded much but have a really low budget. He also demanded free demos. I told him politely to check my guitar gig in wich I have a lot of works done (I'm on FIverr since 2012 and have 800 rated works and almost 1000 in total) He just sent a message imeediately saying "do you play guitar or not?" I told him about my 25+ years experience in this area and also I forwarded him some names I shared credits with in teh industry so he can be sure he will have a good work done and also accepting his really low budget. He blocked me. THe next day my impressiosn dropped. Is there a direct relation between these two moments? How can we sellers deal with these bad behaviour buyers?

It happened to me aswell, from 6000 impressions to 400... then my account recovered a little (1200 impressions) and now back to 500. As part of the SELLER PLUS program, I checked my GIG PERFORMANCE and most of them are 50% / 60% above sellers in my subcategory. Could this be a bug? It's strange that I lost 5500 impressions a week while having a good Click-through rate percentage
