  1. Me too, had incredible experiences and a couple bad ones too but there weren't much of the bad ones anyway. I think Fiverr screwed this up , they could managed to keep both options Buyer Requests and Briefs. They could have worked well together.
  2. Also there was a lot of people not knowing expressing what they wanted/needed and you could help them. Now AI is the only way and humans are not involved in the process of helping each other. I think that¿'s the major problem. In fact I sent a few briefs myself and the AI couldn't match what I was looking for!
  3. It's been a while since this post started, what do you think so far? Are briefs an improvement over Buyers Request?
  4. I had an issue with an order recently (A buyer did an order from me and his feedback was 5.0 rating, then he did another similar order and give the order a 1.0 rate) suddenly my gigs are non-promotable for quality issues... Anyone faced this? How do you improved or reached promotion status again? I'm not receiving any orders because of this
  5. @vishdrawings I'm afraid it's up to Fiverr now, you can't apply to a request, Fiverr will do it for you, if they ever get this thing called BRIEFS to work properly
  6. @shahwargraphicsA great advice, thanks for sharing!!!
  7. @ozan_erdiTotally agree with you! Most probably is that if someone ask you a preview it could be someone who is not serious about the work. @strategist_ceo I totally understand you, recently someone contacted me to do a very short and fast work, very low budget and I agree but at the same time they wanted a demo and I said no for the budget, otherwise I will be putting more time and effoprt into something that's not mine. He just dismissed the conversation with insults. ..
  8. @s80alamThat's great! Just beware of scammers @zeus777 Thansk for sharing your experiences! Discounts can be done but beware that they are not in a promise!
  9. Thanks for your experience! I just worked with several YES members and family-related musicians in several projects (Billy Sherwood currect YES bassist, Oliver Wakeman wich is Rick Wakeman's son and Dylan Howe wich is Steve Howe's son). THose experiences have been amazing!!! Regarding the demo sample, I don't have much trouble doing the demo (and I have done hundreds if not thousands in 25+ years of professional work) but I think there's a certain attitude of the buyer that requests a demo. Surely if someone contacts you through Fiverr I assume it's because he watched your gigs, your feedback, listened r watched your past works . So I think if someone send you a message is because he's into what you can offer. THen it's kinda pointless to supply a demo "just in case". Some recently said to me that a demo was mandatory because he spent too much on previous works and the results wasn't satisfactory. At the same time I explained that he could ask for a refund if the work wasn't what expected as Fiverr states, if a buyer doesn't want to accept the order for a good reason, they can request the refund. So the information is at least suspicious. Some people just love freebies after all. Back to my YES albums aswell!!! Hi @emaripimentel nice to meet you. In answer to your questions, yes, many times I have similar works as samples of previous works done in Fiverr. In 25+ years of working professionally I have a lot of works done wich I can supply as samples but sometimes people just need to know and/or experience (or at least they rely on that) what you can do with his own material. My works are audio-related so it not only depends on me, it depends aswell on the buyer requirements and decisions on what they want/need. I totally understand you, it happened to me aswell. I decided not a while ago that if the demo requestes is relevant to me (it could be a great production wich will benefit me aswell as the buyer or a money amount that's interesting) I do the demo. Also I stopped doing demos for new users. I just asks for certain requirements prior to do the demo. @miiila glad you brought that subject up. I feel the exact same way. One thing I asked Fiverr several times to do is to put a watermark in audio works. Watermarks in graphic works are great! You can't ask for an image and run because they will have a watermark but audio is different. There's a button in wich you can activate watermark but it only works for graphic content. What I did is worked a watermark as an audio track that I overlapped the audio demos. But usually people asked to remove the watermark because the demo wasn't audible... another reason to spot a scammer. @dmc_art I understand sometimes a demo in certain situations are mandatory. It could be an specific design, or sound that you don't have previous work on and it can be helpful. But it has to be something very specific for you to do a demo for free. It's not fair to work a demo "just in case" they like it, everything have to be settled up properly. Sometimes you need work and falls in the hands of these scammers but eventually we all have to say no to this practice.
  10. Exactly my point! When this situation apperas on one of my conversations I always offer a demo for 25% of the final value and if they like the demo and want to continue with the work I will discount that 25% and the work will cost the same. If not the buyer will just spend 25% wich I think is a ridiculously low price for a demo that sometimes takes the same effort as the final product. However, the excuses are usually the higher extra rates Fiverr adds to the buyer orders. They don't want to do two orders.
  11. Thanks!! Hope it will be helpful for all of us!
  12. I'm sure at least once all sellers have crossed with this request. CAN YOU DO A FREE DEMO or SAMPLE? Sometimes the work is so radical and interesting that it is helpful to deliver a demo first. Others it's just a generic work or at least something that is well indicated with requirements. In my case at least 95% of free demos didn't landed any interesting deal or no deal at all. Sometimes buyers won't like sellers work, true but I believe sometimes they realize their preferences are wrong or their request is not good enough to spend money on it and they just move away with a freebie. What do you sellers think about it? Can you share experiences? Are you up for free demos? Also what's the best way to dismiss a FREE DEMO SITUATION?
  13. Totally agree. Also there are some works in wich people think it's better if you take your time. My recommendation is to deliver it as quickly as possible if they ask to, but don't deliver it quick if they want you to take your time, even if you do it in 24 hrs, don't deliver untill the time is right. Otherwise they can believe you are rushing on a fast earning and you didn't do it proper. Otherwise it could lead to a cancelation not for the quality, just because of the situation.
  14. I understand your point, but being a true professional is just not enough these days.
  15. A couple of days ago I received four rbefs, I was really shocked. I just realized the four briefs were made by the same person and were actually the same brief repeatedly. Finally this user cancelled the four briefs and also deleted his account... how can that be better that Buyer Requests?
  16. Unuseful Brief service thanks to Artificial Ignorance
  17. Obviously they made a live beta without proper testing and now the site is sinking
  18. Not working even for buyers. I just posted that I needed a resumee and Fiverr couldn't match with a seller... image the quantity of jobs that are goign to the drain because of the bad AI decisions
  19. It's all up to Fiverr now, you can't do much to work on the site now Buyer Requests are gone.
  20. New system isn't working for most sellers, Buyer Request was working just fine
  21. It seems not, all briefs I have received so far (and they were very few) were cancelled by the buyer, also some of the buyers have closed their accounts. This isn't good for sellers nor even for Fiverr.
  22. Exactly, I have crossed paths with this problems in the graphics area. Lots of people just using some software filters with no skill at all.
