Voicemail uploads

I record voicemail messages for people as one of my gigs. I have gotten the question a couple times, about how to upload an mp3 to voicemail. I know google voice allows it, but I’m not sure how they may have done it for like, an office voicemail. Does anyone have any tips or know how it might have been done so I’ll have a better answer when these questions arise?

I suppose that would be a difficult question to answer, as it may depend on the type of system the office uses.
