Tried to verify my account but it says my phone number is already used

I created my fiverr account back in 2013, but I wasn't able to use it because I didn't have a credit card back then.  I tried setup my first gig today but when I went to publish it fiverr wanted me to verify my phone number.  I typed it in and pressed the button to send me a call but a red message box came up saying my number is already used.  Then it said I was out of verify attempts for 24 hours.  

I've had this phone number my whole life so I don't think someone else could have used it.  What can I do?

If you try tomorrow and fail, you might get a longer suspension. I see that you don't have any other accounts where you may have used your phone number. It's probably just a bug. It would be best to contact support@fiverr.com and explain the situation.
