My suggestion to Fiverr regarding tips.

Stop charging another fee just for the tips.

The tip should be free for both buyers and sellers. Fiverr is already taking cut on both sides for the platform. If there are concerns for abusing the system, lock the tip price to a percentage of order.

Yes I was thinking about that, I think it's not justified to make the client pay a fee to tip. Fiverr can do what you said or take the 20% fee on the seller once the order is completed, taking into account the price of the order + the tip amount.

I am also wondering why there is a fee on both sides, for the seller and for the buyer, regarding a basic order?

In a fair world, that would be ideal but we live in a world where profit is King and so that explains that.

It's Fiverr rules. However, when we tip a restaurant boy restaurant owner doesn't want this.

Apparently the reason tips are charged with a fee is to avoid cheating the payment system by for example placing a 5$ order and agreeing secretly to pay the rest as a tip to avoid the 20% fee per order.
