& if seller cancel the order, it will affect Order completion rate.

In that case, you can contact CS and let them know. They will help you to cancel that order and they will promise you that this cancellation will not affect negatively your rank. But it is a lie and it will destroy your rankings.😆

Trust me, I have multiple experiences like this.
Now that we have this new "success score" system, I can see more clearly what those promises did to my account over the years.

I'd love to see a 1-2 window when a buyer places an order where the seller can decline it without being penalized. That way if I read the order and realize I can't do what the seller is asking we could part ways without it affecting anyone's account. Seems smart right?

Hi Fellows!

I think Sellers should have some options of Accepting / Rejecting orders after discussion with buyer, because sometimes buyers directly order without reading full description of the gig & ask for something different then scope of gig, & if seller cancel the order, it will affect Order completion rate.

For example, I get sometimes clients which ask me to design a website in Wix, even my gigs are for WordPress & i have no knowledge about WIX, so I have no other option except canceling the order.

What you guys think ?

Very correct and useful for what I need. I have a total of 5 canceled orders. And all 5 orders were created by buyers without discussing anything with me. Why do buyers have the right to accept or reject offers, but sellers don't have the right to reject orders?

I think Fiverr could simply disable the option for buyers to create an order themselves. Instead, only sellers would have the ability to do this, either by placing custom orders or offering any of the usual packages (basic, standard, premium).

This would help avoid the common situation where a buyer reads your gig description, thinks 'Oh! This is exactly what I need', and then orders the basic package, even when the task is much more complex. That leaves you stuck completing a complex order for the basic package that the buyer (intentionally or not) selected in order to avoid a cancellation, and have your Success Score affected because of this
