How to connect with a creator

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm new to Fiverr but hope to become a frequent user. I'm looking for suggestions on how to best connect with a creator.

I recently took the plunge and started learning DaVinci Resolve 18. I've made a few videos and am getting the basics down. I created a draft of an intro I like (for my own personal use), but know that it is lacking the touches that a pro could apply to take it to the next level. I have tried contacting a few Fiverr creators and asking if they A. use DaVinci, B. if they would be interested in taking my intro (cloud sharing timeline/media) and polishing it, and C. a quote. So far the response has been no or I'm directed to their website where they instruct me to pick an intro template, and they will add my logo. I'm seeing that this could be a time consuming process with many failures before I get lucky and connect with the right person. Is there like a job search bulletin board, where I could post my needs, and the right person would be likely to respond? To me the right creator would be able to take my intro, add some effects, tweak the timing/transitions a bit and generally just polish it up a bit. I know I will eventually get to where I can do this, but I also realize that the next level is hours of learning, practicing and failing to get there. In the meantime, I'm hoping a skilled creator could do this fairly quickly and simply.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I'll add a link to my intro draft  . . just in case!

Hi @galadhlinn, you could post a Buyer's Request. You would need to fill out your project details, price, and turnaround time. Seller will then put in offers in response to your request. It won't take long before you have a pool of sellers to vet and go through to see which one matches your needs the best. See the picture below where you can find the Buyer's Request.

The Help Center has tips on how to submit effective Buyer's Request here:

Another option you could do is a Buyer's Brief. You can read about this here:
