Buyer has made an order, but his messages indicate that his problem is not what my service is about at all

Question

Hello

This is a bit of a weird one.

I woke up this morning and saw that a buyer has made an order for one of my gigs. I thought to myself: 'oh that is great start to the morning!'

I then noticed that he had sent a bunch of messages, and the happy feeling quickly went away 😅 his description of the problem is not what my gig is about at all and my gig can't be any clearer.

What am I to do here? If I cancel, it will affect my stats and I do not want that. What's the right way to approach this?

Thank you.

Inform the buyer that this is not something you offer and that you will process it for cancellation. Contact Customer Support and inform them that the buyer mistakenly placed an order that does not fit your gig. They usually are able to make it not affect your stats. https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets/new
