Tax Reporting and Fiverr

Hello! I realize all income is to be reported … however, am I understanding correctly that Fiverr does not report income to the IRS until a seller has reached or exceeding $20K? I am asking, because I’ve been selling here for a couple of years, and have never once received any w2 from them to send to the IRS. However, I have not reached the $20K mark either. Just curious.

Hello Lisa,

I received a similar problem but with hiring contractors. I was unaware that I was to send forms to them (unless those out of the country do not count). I believe, in your case, you would need to self-report your additional income to the IRS and label it as a income from your business.
