How to start the right way

Hi!
I’m new to the site, and I was wondering if someone of you could help me grasp the essencial tips to get my gig started.
Since i’m new I don’t really know what could boost my work and differentiate it from the rest of them.

Welcome! 😁 I noticed that if you put a good amount of time in setting up your Gig, it will save you the hassle to update & adjust it later. Not only will you have a good impression right from the bat, it also saves you the reviewing process that comes when making Gig adjustments. I did some refining later down the road and this led to my gig disappearing for a while, because Fiverr had to review my changes. And this might impact potential sales of course! There’s nothing wrong with making changes and from time to time this is even necessary, but I’d say keep it to a minimum.

What helped me out a lot was typing certain keywords in Search to see what other people in my field are doing & how they are portraying themselves. It goes without saying that you shouldn’t copy their content, but it gives you a good feel of what information you should include as well as how to differentiate.

Last but not least, this is a good overview of many tips & tricks to get you started! As it already says it’s a long read, but as a freelancer you have to put in hard work & time to have a chance at success. Trust me, your efforts will definitely show & gives you an advantage compared to other sellers who don’t!
