Buyer cancelled order but says he didnt

I sent my buyer a custom order last night. When I woke up this morning, I got a notification that the buyer cancelled the order. Shouldnt the dispute box have opened? It didn’t. It just said the order has been cancelled by the “buyer” end of story. I contacted the buyer about the order and he told me that he paid (proved with a screenshot too) but never cancelled the order, because he’s a regular customer of mine so its not like he doesnt like my work.

Main concern here is that my cancellation percentage for order has increased! I dont understand why. The buyer never cancelled it from his end, and even if he did, I should have had the option to agree or disagree in the resolution centre right? None that happened and now were both confused, and my order competition rate is decreasing. I dont know what to do
