Fiverrs Country of Origin

Too many times have I ordered a gig from a fiverr that I have wanted to originate from a specifc country of origin only to find out they had just set up a fake account to appear local to buyers. This is wrong…Fiverr should tighten up on accounts only allowing ip specific accounts to corresponding countries.

I am a new user, I literally created my profile two days ago. I noticed my country of origin is " Kiribati", and I can’t find a way to edit it, as I’m in the US. I have been trying to edit it, but it seems there is no way to do it.



So, I’m not sure if people are really setting up fake accounts. Perhaps they are, but my profile is an example where my country of origin was somehow chosen, and I’m not able to alter it.
