finalstep
There are tons of people using photos photos representing themselves or videos describing their gigs that are done by actors. I have a bigger issue with the photos than videos, but both can be fixed. How about doing verification on these and maybe displaying a seller identity verified icon on profiles that comply. There’s a very simple, automated process to do this that I can explain if needed.
craigscott
It really is a simple process. Regardless of who does the video gig for the seller here is a simple and effective option. Fiverr Admins can use a verification process for each buyer seller and designate a small badge beside their user name. Seller verified, buyer verified, location verified…etc. By using provided phone numbers as well as confirmation via a s***e call to have their picture taken to ensure the member regardless of the Avatar used in creating the account. This option is essential for both buyer and sellers when transacting business on Fiverr as it now will create an increase sense of security reducing spammers and will allow a mush enhanced experience on Fiverr. cheezees
I don’t know exactly how the verification would work. Suppose a seller hires an actor to make a video and also uses photos of the actor in their gigs, how would Fiverr know that it is not the actual seller?I don’t see how it is feasible. finalstep
Reply to @cheezees: It’s really simple to do. There’re automated programs that do this via s***e. There’s also the simple id verification process.
