Guys, I’m new here and I don’t understand what the Creative Writing gig is. Please enlighten me!

Creative Writing is any writing that goes outside the bounds of normal professional, journalistic, academic, or technical forms of literature, typically identified by an emphasis on narrative craft, character development, and the use of literary tropes or with various traditions of poetry and poetics.

This is not to be confused with Creative License, an example of which would be listing something as a skill without knowing what it is.
