  1. Exactly. Even if they do fix this by chance, I think it's too little too late for me. My entire opinion of this platform has changed, as it is a prime example of how AI managing is ruining a lot of things. But either way I'll be sticking around until the end of the year. For anyone who considers leaving Fiverr, I would suggest to keep your seller account until the next tax season, so if you get audited, you'll have proof of your work to show. It's scary seeing some sellers completely deactivating/deleting their accounts, I don't think they thought about taxes before doing so.
  2. Absolutely. It's honestly embarrassing at this point. I'm just glad for the forums so us sellers can discuss these things with each other. It's been way more helpful than any "advice" received from support. I actually wasn't even active in the forums at all until this new level stuff rolled out. To anyone who is contemplating leaving Fiverr this year, I would suggest to keep your seller account until next tax season. You want evidence of your work here in case an audit happens. Don't just delete/deactivate your account! If you're done taking orders, pause your gigs or utilize vacation/availability mode.
  3. Now that is messed up. That makes me wonder about some of the deliveries I've made, where I never heard back from the buyer and it auto-completes. That doesn't happen too often, but now I'm suspicious. Before the update, Fiverr already had a somewhat negative impression on the public due to the amount of buyers that were getting scammed. Now I feel that reputation is getting even worse. I wonder if impressions are down for everyone across the board because the buyer pool decreased. The question might not be where did the buyers go, but rather why aren't they even on the platform? That's what worries me. No one wants to buy or sell on a platform that everyone thinks is sketchy. So I'm really considering my career options at the moment.
  4. I don't understand how this is benefitting the company at all if even sellers with good stats are getting shafted. I agree there must generally be a smaller buying market. Fiverr already had a shaky reputation before because of how many people felt like they were getting scammed. I imagine that reputation is dipping even further now. I've been seeing a lot of sellers canceling their Fiverr Pro subscriptions as well because it just isn't helpful anymore.
  5. Thank you for sharing that. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing the same thing after so much success.
  6. I know a lot of people have had bad experiences since the new level system launched, and I'd like to share mine because I don't see much else like it being discussed. I know people are losing levels left and right, but I was one of the lucky ones. My success score is a 10, the highest you can get, and I'm a level 2 seller. I thought this put me in a safe position, but I've been deeply struggling as well. As far as I can tell, you are given no benefits to being a 10. My impressions are terrible compared to before the update. I can hardly find my gig in search half the time, which makes me think they changed a lot about how that works, but haven't shared that info with us. We're all left guessing in the dark. I've had only 1 new client this month, and thank goodness a bunch of my repeat buyers showed up. They're the ones keeping my lights on at this point. I tried promoting my gig for a few weeks, and it made absolutely no difference. Aside from then owing Fiverr money. My income is down overall, and I actually went and got a part time job to make up the difference, because I don't see this changing any time soon. it's unpredictable. I'm miserable because I'm looking for how I can improve, but since I'm already at a score of 10 I'm just given a thumbs up and "You're doing great!" when I'm not. I'm just feeling very done with this platform. The only reason I'm staying right now is for my returning clients. It is definitely more for them than it is for me. I might give it a couple more months before I decide to leave. Thank you for listening to my rant, for whoever reads this.
  7. I came into the forums to write a similar post but I saw the title of this one immediately. I'm even thinking about leaving Fiverr, and my success score is a 10, the highest you can get (and I'm level 2). I can confirm that it isn't any better on the other side of this rating system based on my experience so far. Ever since the new update, my impressions have been absolute trash. I've had to rely on promotion to get orders, which I've rarely had to do before in my three years on here. What's the point of having the highest success score possible if they're STILL going to throttle impressions? As far as I can tell, there are zero benefits to being at a 10 aside from the peace of mind. However, that's not even great because I'm horrified of it dropping for a reason I may not be able to fix. I've been enjoying my work here less, and even got a part time job to make up for the loss of income since the update came out. It's literally so useless.
  8. Hello friends. I was just curious if anyone has started a new gig since the new level system rolled out. I just created a new one today, and I'm super curious how/if this might affect my success score. My success score is currently a 10. I'm wondering about this because obviously I now have this new gig with no orders, no ratings, etc. I don't know if they have special rules for new gigs, or if this might drag me down. Thanks!
  9. Oh my gosh, finally I've found some people with the same issue as me! My success score is great, but I haven't gotten any new orders or messages in ten days, which is super unusual! Normally I can only have my gig visible for a day or two because I'd get so much traffic. But this month? Crickets. It's never been this quiet for me in the three years I've been on here. I actually went and applied for a seasonal job the other day because I'm worried how long this dry run will be.
  10. I'm not paying for ads but I've also noted a huge decline in impressions and clicks since the new level system went live. Which is crazy because I thought I'd be doing well, my 'success' score is a 9. Haven't changed anything about my gig, just generally getting less traffic.
  11. If that is something we can actually do, I'd be all for that. Because I have a feeling no matter how much we try to tell them, they'll only do minor tweaks to this new system.
  12. Yeah I'm super confused what is going on with my rating then. I only have 1 gig, and it says that gig is a 10. No improvement required. Yet my overall score is a 6. All other requirements are green as well. The only thing that changed recently was that I paused the gig a few days ago.
  13. I often pause my gig to control my workflow. I'll get way too many orders if I keep it active all the time. My gig while active is a 10, but I just noticed today that my score dipped to a 6 after pausing. Because it only measures active gigs, and I only have 1 gig. So, apparently my score dips if I pause it. This seems like it's going to cause a lot of sellers anxiety when they want to take a break. We shouldn't feel punished for that. I'm also hesitant to start any new gigs, because I feel like it will negatively affect this score. There isn't enough transparency in how this all works for me to feel comfortable enough to expand my work here on Fiverr. Currently, creating new gigs feels like a risk rather than an opportunity.
