It might have small impact on your gig but I'd suggest make changes if the new image is better than the current one. It will be good for you in the long term.

There is no specific platform, You can try the most popular one like Fb, insta, twitter etc.

See what are other gigs on your niches have selected and make decisions from there. make sure to research at least 15-20 gigs.

So much text in gig image is not good, so fix it first. Make sure your titles and description properly explain your service to potential buyer. Also, make sure to research gig tags properly; they are invaluable when it comes to ranking up your gigs! good luck -
