Almost all the clients from my "Completed Orders" list, have this mark as repeat buyers. Some of them have placed orders with me more than once, some have added extras on their order and some have only completed 1 order with me. The repeat order score is low and I never got a "repeat business badge". And If I was to count the number of "Repeat Buyers" that I really have, it wouldn't add up to the score It actually shows in the Analytics!

  2. Hey williecampos78

I see. Based on what you shared, it appears that your situation is way more challenging. I haven't had any experience working with that type of client before.

For me, in cases where clients exceed revision requests included in their order, I respond by submitting my own request outlining the additional work involved, along with a corresponding fee. This approach helps them understand that it takes time to work on each revision requested and I am not willing to do that work for free. So they either accept the fee or proceed with the original delivery.

The client you are dealing with obviously seems to do that a lot, and communication won't help resolve the situation.

Did you contact Support regarding this? Were they able to help?

It will definitely affect your ranking, impressions, clicks, ratings, etc., as you'd have found out. How have you been coping since then? Were you able to level up quickly?

    Hey @glow_writer

So, at that time I did cancel the orders for my own personal reasons as I had to step away from work. My profile deranked as expected. I did have quite a break from the platform (I was offline) and by the time I got back, those canceled orders started to have less effect on my profile. I completed a couple of new orders and soon got back on track. Now I get similar impressions and clicks on gigs as before.

Hi, I am sorry you are going through this situation but really it is not too big of a deal in my opinion. I will leave some notes that can maybe help you deal with this type of situations or even prevent them happen in the future!

You don't have to block a client or avoid their request if they need more help after their order was complete or after the delivery you have sent.

When they request a revision, make it clear what their order included, state the number of free revisions they had available for the price they paid (if any), and let them know you can not afford to do additional work for free. Explain to them all that and create and send a custom offer for the additional work!

Make sure you describe what additional service you are offering, explain the price and the time you will need.

If they agree, then that's perfect, you get one more order and earn more. But if they are not willing to pay for the additional work, you do not have to do it for free. Re-send the last delivery, and explain why the delivery contains the same materials as the last one just to have everything in the record. The chances are they will either mark the order as complete or won't bother you anymore trying to get free work done, and in the end order gets completed automatically!

In summary: I have a client who already accepted the delivery of the job, as he is problematic and stingy I asked him that at least to continue working on another order he would rate me with 5 stars this order. He agreed and supposedly "did it", he affirms it to me, he even says "he did it 2 times" which I doubt it is possible, but, I didn't get any rating. He says it "maybe because he didn't comment". (He said he would leave me the 5 stars but no comments). So, my question is:

Is it necessary to leave a public comment on a review to a seller to be awarded his stars? Or, can we leave the stars without having to leave a public comment? Could it be because he did not leave a public comment? Or, is it necessary to leave a comment to leave a rating? I hope you understand the question, thank you.

    To answer your question,
Yes, it is necessary to leave his comment on his review otherwise the buyer won't be able to leave any "Star Rating" on your completed order. He has to add his comments/ his review describing how it was for him working with you!

and not to answer anything but just to point out, you are not supposed to be discuss ratings and reviews with clients at all and asking for a 5 star review in order to continue working with a problematic client makes it even worse!

I am a new seller on Fiverr. As a new seller, every single gig was performing pretty well. All of a sudden, all of my gig impressions are zero. I can’t figure out what happened to me or how I can solve my problem. As a new seller, this is frustrating.

Please help me with a perfect solution.

Thanks for your comments. Dear i think not like this type of problem. As a new seller I spend a lot of time online. I try to check the activity of each gig again and again. Within a short time my gigs were getting good impressions and clicks. Suddenly every gig has 0% impressions. I did not find whats wrong.

At a certain time of the day, all your gigs will show 0 impressions, 0 clicks, 0 orders, 0 conversion rate.
They are probably being evaluated, check back later and see if it changes ( couple hrs)

if the orders have been canceled due to the buyer's fault you can try ask to the CS to remove these orders from your performances

I support what Venonusa said, you can't just cancel the order but rather let fiverr Customer support handle that for you by removing the orders. I think with that it won't affect your account.

Thank you both for your comments. The thing is... For personal reasons I had to step away from work, making it impossible to deliver to my clients, I discussed it with them and offered to cancel the order so they get the full refund. That way we mutually agreed to cancel the order. Doing that, I did have in mind the possibility of the level demotion since the Order Completion rate fell below 90%.

I haven't had a level demotion before that is why I wanted to ask and understand what to expect.

My question was, how will this demotion effect my profile, my ranking, the impressions, clicks, rating.
Anything you can tell would be helpful and greatly appreciated!

Have you ever gotten a level demotion? Did that have a big impact on the impressions, clicks, new orders and conversion rates?
Did you have any trouble leveling up again?

  8. Hey everyone,
Recently I had to cancel couple orders I was working on and because of that I believe/know my profile will be demoted from level 2.

My question is, how will the demotion effect my profile, my ranking, the impressions, clicks, rating.
Anything you can tell would be helpful and greatly appreciated!
    Thank you!

  9. I am a level 2 seller, used to get orders and request regularly,
but I had a break from freelancing and since I have been back I am finding it difficult to get orders!

I did put more effort and modified all the details in my profile, gig description, gig videos and images,
I do provide quality work which is also seen in the reviews, I also dropped the prices very low to get some orders started but everything is going very slow.

Impressions, Clicks, conversation rate... all are very low, what am I doing wrong? Can you spot anything in my profile that can me improved?
