  1. hi there,

i got something around 25 days or more, it's not an exact thing, but you would be noticed at some point, most of Fiverr algorithm changes in recent months are related to showing new freelancers.

to have a better chance (i guess) being fully online and respond to everything like briefs and msg would help a lot.

it's not important when, it's important what you would do for the first client and how you go by the next ones.

just try to find the best idea and learn from top sellers in every gig topics that you have, see how they act, what they do, and innovate. just make sure with each update on your gigs, you get more impressions.

  2. why should a seller even bother to do your project with no order ? Are you kidding me ?!

do i trust you guys if you dont stop communication after you get the project ?!

this happened to me that i trusted a client and he/she didnt show up anymore, i understand that semi-final files are enough for some of them.

so please see the sellers as they are like you dear clients. you have the option to pick a reliable seller, you see seller badges, reviews, even works, some of them can provide an extra CV or Portfolio (even though these 2 are not reliable).

you know what is going wrong when you see buyers always go to find the lowest price, then they can't trust the seller can provide the quality they need or not !!!! so go for some more reliable sellers.

and remember there is a milestone offer, you can pay the seller step by step, and when ever you see your seller cant go well with the project, you can cancel it. and it will not harm you !!! (however this is weird that on Fiverr sellers face a huge penalty on canceled orders).

Last month, i shared my story about anxiety that i got from fiverr after i got deranked, it was really hard to have me derank for about 3 weeks on this lovely platfom that i earn living from it, i had some very dark moments thinking that my source of income will be dead and i may get to 9-5 job that pay way less than what i earn from here, in this period i have been studying the issue, and all i got to understand is that fiverr algorithm is all about buyer satisfaction, if you are not providing the quality that make the buyer happy you are going down, and after getting few order from here and here, i got back on top, i even made 3 times what i can make in 9-5 job the same month i got derank, this month is good too ! in all those fiverr i got deranked many times, got few orders sometimes, but in the end i found my self doing good job and making way more what i can make in 9-5, i also would recommend to have another source of income, that how you can be protective all the time, don t get too confortable, you must learn new skills to stay competitive in the market, i even start my journey on another platform and got 2 clients there(trying to make another source of incom ;)).Overall, fiverr will always stay a great platform for all the good freelancers that can provide high quality service.
Special thanks to those who helped when i was searching for answers vickiespencerstrategist_ceovickieito

never put all your eggs in one basket, sure here is perfectly good, but you can't risk your everything on it.

always bad things would happen in freelance works, but you should know you can't let it goes down, right ?

Hey, I noticed from last month, whenever i complete a order, then that earning doesn't count in my monthly earning, but when a clearance balance clear then that show under this month earning..

Last month i contacted FS, they told me clear the browser cache and so on.. but i dont think so this happening from my end.

    so its happing with everyone?

if yes, then it doesn't make sense, because fiverr take 14days in balance clearance, so how this can be count in this month income??  this is making lots of confusion, because i am unable to count my this month income due to this error.

there is nothing wrong with it, u just explained it.

it's the difference in logic, you want to know how much have done on the past month, it's not an important data on Fiverr, however you can calculate it from your earnings page as well, all orders have a date there. but when it's clear to withdraw, it's logical to count it for the amount you have for the month right ?

Take it as grosser shop, where every one pays you later, after whole month and 1000 of buyers, you want to have the track of how much you have earned not how much have sold, because you want to know how much you have to spend right now, or buy new selling object right ? and you dont care how much is going out, you want how much you have right now.

before dear Filipdevaere comes over and tell me I'm not fluent in English, thats right I'm not 😄 so please dont 😛

Fiverr will be performing site maintenance on Saturday/Sunday (Sept 17th/18th). The site will be unavailable starting at 5am GMT/UTC.

On September 18th, 2022, starting at 5:00 AM UTC, Fiverr will be down for a few short hours so that we can upgrade our systems and improve the site’s efficiency. To avoid running into any issues, be sure to schedule activities and deliveries accordingly.

    Maintenance start times:
    UTC - 5am, Sept 18th
    BST - 6am, Sept 18th

    EDT - 1am, Sept 18th
    PDT - 11pm, Sept 17th

Will my seller statistics/Gig rankings be affected?

They shouldn’t be. We’ll make every effort to undo any negative impact this downtime may have on your on-time delivery stats and response rates, but you can contact Support for assistance should you notice any changes.

How will my orders be affected?

Good news: they won’t be! We’ll be back up and running shortly so orders and deliveries should continue as usual. That said, we do recommend you deliver any pending orders prior to the downtime, if possible, or request a delivery extension if the downtime will interfere with any of your deadlines. As always, we’re here if you run into any issues.

Please direct me, where can i track site updates, news, changes ?

like one time I've read about buyers request changes or brief changes, i want to track related subject like this.

The whole point of this post was that... it is actually VERY important because Fiverr will take it very seriously not. Plagarism, that is.

Of course, it happens, but... Fiverr doesn't really want it... And they can shut down gigs for less, so...

(From what I understand, they seem to be scanning desctiptions/profiles now as well... And stolen works, too.)

Dont know, maybe you are right about it, sure are.

some doesnt like to being copy, some dont care. i honestly dont care about that. there is something else, if someone uses tags and names of their gigs, from 2 or 3 bestseller account, can anyone say that this new seller is a copycat ?!

there are too many different situations that cant prove they are copycat or not. there so sellers might not be happy for being copied but the main thing that is important is they always evolve and get better, but copycats would never be able to be so.

anyway in my situation being copied from tags names or even description of the gigs is not such a big deal, but my projects are different stories.

But the question is how to find  who is original and who is not?

believe me if someone wants to copy someone else, he/she is going to find someone with obvious achievements like badges and most reviews.

so i think it might be better to pick the seller with the better stats and reviews, and if someone can copy other sellers and overpass them, i wonder isnt that seller more capable than the original one ?!

This is just purely guessing, but they might go by how old gigs are - Fiverr might have data on how/when descriptions/etc. were changed. If I updated my x gig in January this year, they'd know I did that, right? So if someone started using the same text in February, for example, there'd be a way to track down the changes to see who did it first. (I mean, that's what I think.)
Volume of sales doesn't always matter, either. A TRS with high prices might have only 10 orders a month and earn much more than a new seller who has 50. The new seller could still be a copycat, even if they sell more gigs. (same goes with younger/older profiles.)

im agreed with you it's just a hunch but i can see there are some new changes on getting impressions and click, my main 2d drafting gig was going with more than 31k impressions per 7 days, and it was good, somehow all of my gigs endure drops on impressions and click.

dont know exactly what happened but, i know i had a better rates on the first 6-month on Fiverr than these 3 last months

I have a question? On which base you want to find out who is original and how is stealing? I have seen many old profiles who didn't work much orders then newer profile. Then how?

why would it be important ? every one will search for bestsellers gigs to see what tags and words are used. its logical to have some copies from them. and Fiverr only goes for pictures of gigs and check them for copyright.

I feel that now a days buyer request is too low, as a new seller without buyer request how can we survive ?

in my case buyer's request in architecture and interior design has a big problem.

More than 2 months ago when ever you open the buyer's request there were plenty of requests, but now after new changes there are nothing but spams and scams.

we can do nothing but wait

    @ashkarchi

    Can you explain this?

i explain what i have understood about it, people with pro-fiverr tag has pretty high fee on their gigs, you can find them services with almost same quality if you search more, Pro-Fiverrs are qualified on Fiverr so more serious project are related to them, in my case project that are going to be confirmed to build (architecture and interior design). they are trusted with their experience and abilities on Fiverr for everyone who can see their gigs.

best way to a new seller is to find sellers with other badges like top-seller, or sellers with grate amount of good reviews.

Check your competitors gig, how to elaborate, what about the keywords, how's your activeness on fiverr? Check everything to your competitors those are in first page from fiverr search results.

    yes check your competitor's gig,

find them as i offer to search

1-search your topic in 3 different words

2-search for the sellers gigs with badge (top seller or seller LVL 2), (Fiverr choice is better to find), (pro Fiverr is not really important they get what they want anyway)

3-pick only sellers who have the most amount of reviews, higher the number is showing that he comes in all searches on top.

4- 2 sentences are important, all words that are used on the topic second one is its tags.

5- remember you have to lower your price as much as you can, i have started my 2D drafting gig with $5 per plan, now It's not so different after 6 months, but it is working with more thank 18K impression in month.

6- share your gig every month on your LinkedIn, twiterr, Instagram, QUORA, PINTEREST

7- " this is not a sure thing but I'm giving it a shot "

look there seems to be a rotation on Fiverr for every seller, every gig of a seller will be removed from first page, no matter how much is it good, how much it has impressions, almost no one know why this happens, but it will. I'm going to build up some different gigs with different categories to see if it happens to them as well or not. the different between these 2 categories are almost 6 or 7 months.

Yeah iphone users do get such hassles atimes.. but I think it'll be normal afterwards

This topic is to help limit the number of posts that ask “where are my buyer requests?” in full-on panic mode.

Fiverr is now pausing buyer requests on the app and I think on the desktop version as well as they will be replacing this feature with a new version soon.

They finished testing the feature yesterday and it should start rolling out soon.

I don’t know how the new feature will work but based on a test message I received it’s similar to “brief and match” only Fiverr will somehow help “certify” the requests one gets.

Maybe they will break this into seller plus members and non-members. (So only members get those “certified” requests)

    We’ll soon find out!

I don’t think pinning this would help as the majority of this forum doesn’t read anything, they will go ahead and post their rants. 🙂

thank you, it explained many things, really appreciate this.

i was worry about the order completion that lowered my rank. but now I'm happy to know there is a bigger picture to it.

also I'm worried now that Fiverr becomes another freelancer.com by knowing from a look at buyers requests, they really want to pay even lower than what a seller will try to sell her/his service, it will put a real pressure on the seller, (I'm an architect here)

  13. Hi, there are many reasons for that.

    - too many newbies are here

    - it's in $ or ... this will lead countries with lower value of their money to start working here with low price like the Middle East (turkey, Pakistan, India)

    - for start you have to make some reputation for yourself, so it's a good idea before reaching lvl2 seller be on low price for more jobs.

    - it's Fiverr algorithm that let buyers compete with each other on everything, lower price is the best option since you need to build the reputation I've told u above. money is the easiest way.

    - at the other hand, Fiverr algorithm is letting sellers give services with their price not the buyer offer on price.
