  2. My response was to a seller if he refuse to offer me a 1 time revision as it said "unlimited" on his gig, but still charge us buyers. I mean, my respond would be like... "Honey, your gig isn't all that bad. However it said the revision is unlimited and your gig did also mentioned 'I will offer lifetime support 24/7'. Yet, you still charge us $50 extra for the revision?" No, I'm not trying sweet talk. I'm just being polite, but if you're just being a jerk or I'll ask Fiverr Customer Support for my money back. (Then do a girly wave with right hand) Oooh... buh-bye.

  3. Some of the seller are lucky that I'm not the type of a person would goes full Karen mode with all "Girl Talk", complaining about the gig I order if I ask for a revision and see how his reaction turn out, before I could contact Fiverr Customer Support.

  4. Reading the forum of some seller considering themselves "the best", "I am the best, "I deserved the badge or being top seller", then attack the buyers and blaming it was their fault. As the buyer -- this just break my heart. I would be ashamed of calling myself a professional seller and wouldn't want to treat my buyers like that. We are all humans. No one is perfect. There may be some buyers can be impatient too, but it's not their fault because the gigs lead them to believe that the seller offering life time. I mean it does really sounds like charity works, but charge the buyer for revision? That's not good.

I find this is just that some sellers seem to care more about badge them their buyers these days. This is just sad and it break my heart, to be honest. Because I didn't want to be treat badly as a buyer the way they treated their buyers. 🙁

  7. I have been told many times by family member as being a skinny person, it does hurt, but it will take time for them to get used to it. Although my whole household are overweight, excepted 4 of my beautiful nieces are normal. Well, I was in fact skinny as my 8 years old niece. My sister-in-law once told me I needed to eat more even I doesn't eat much. And yes, I'm such a picky when come to food like junk, soft drink (like soda), barbeque, oily food -- especially pork meat I hate the most.

And no, I do not have eating disorder. I don't like being too skinny either, because it would make me looks like a walking skeleton. Being thin is not what I wanted to look this way. Yes, I did tried to eat as much as I could to gain some fat, but it will take 3 months for me to do it so. Why? Because I exercise a lot, every morning. And it does make me lost few pounds from 116lb, and now I weight 110lb. I exercise most likely morning and during break from art at noon 30 minutes after finish my lunch. Because I love doing exercise to keep me healthy and staying fitness. Yes, yoga and indoor are my favorite part of daily indoor exercise.

Oh yes, I almost forgot... even though my little white Pomeranian love watching me work out and she would always try to join me workout too! Ha! Well, I love staying fitness you know.

Diet and nutrition are the only healthy foods of my choice I can eat and workout. I have a brother who was overweight, and he tried hard to lose some fat, but couldn't do it. The problem is, he is a smoker and he would smoke many pack of cigarettes a days as he wanted. Drinking beers and soda is also becoming his health problem. This is why it hard him to do daily exercise and workout when he had a breathing problem.

Again, built a body from being skinny to athletic is not easy if some people have problem with eating with all type of junk foods that make them feel craving and wanted to eat more due to amount of calories which keep them continues overeating every hours. My mom even told me that I looks skinny, um... like a woman. You know, like those... fashion model. (LOL...) Hush...

    (Sigh)

  8. Currently working on a new game characters concept art of Ellie and Joe from "The Last Of Us Part 1" for my DeviantArt and ArtStation. Of course, it's a full body version character of Ellie in 3 different outfits: One she wear original clothes from The Last Of Us: Remastered (PlayStaton 4) and one of Ellie wearing astronaut outfit as she dreaming of her flying to the moon with Joel. As for Joel. I'm still working on trying to figure what to create Joel wearing new outfit.

I will be using the same style as I created my first character Tara from the sci-fi Night City 2070 comic. Creating the realistic artwork may take long, as nearly as 2 or 3 weeks is worth waiting for "The Last Of Us" fans. Of course, fans love good artwork that looks more realistic, and it's almost come to life.

To be honest, working as a characters artist in the gaming industry is a pain in the butt when you're on the tight schedules. I had few fellow artist friends used to worked with Ubisoft on the Assassin's Creed project. You can imagine the rush from impatient gamers, even if the company announce about the delaying of the game which triggered anger from many fans of the game, and creating total backlash.

Anyway, I can't wait to share Ellie and Joel character concept artwork from the latest "The Last Of Us Part 1" on DeviantArt, and on Fiverr here.

Of course, Sony not only release The Last Of Us Part 1 on PlayStation 5 coming September 2 this year, but they also planning for the PC version as well which is still in development after the PlayStation 5 release!

  9. Someone outside of Fiverr currently working at Amoeba Music (based in San Francisco) contacted me on DeviantArt via Gmail asking for a collaboration together to create an 80's music poster artwork for the concert with AC/DC on it. Yes, he wanted me to draw the whole band poster like an 80's style movie poster. This guy, of course is a legitimate graphic artist who still working with the Amoeba, and need someone like myself to collaborate with him on the 80's poster he wanted to create for AC/DC.

After showing the artist one of my latest 80's movie poster illustration project I did with Mad Max: Fury Road's legendary character Immortan Joe in his mask with shiny chrome colors. He wanted me to do the same with shining stuff. You know, every art in the 80's and the 90's like VHS cassette tape video cover has some artwork with chrome letters or movie titles, with different of shining fonts including artwork.

He was very impressive with this and wanted me to create the same 1980 style like I did with retro movie poster for AC/DC he was asked to create for the concert. Well, of course, I searched him up on Google by typing his name and Amoeba, and it turned out this guy actually work there and he wasn't fake as most I've came across those who sent me a proposal job like one asked me to create artwork for the Harley Davidson Motorcycle company.

Anyway, I'm super excited for the summer because I have been super busy planning on creating some of the 80's movie style movie artwork and planning on submit it to Netflix, and few other film company that are looking to hire artists for their show on Netflix.

I have been looking forward to work on the Jurassic Park: Dominion, and few other 2022 movies into the 80's poster illustration like it used be. Unfortunately, creating 80's artwork on Fiverr for buyers who are searching for artists to create something like that for their new movies, it won't happen. Since the 80's artwork take so many times if they wanted the realistic style details artwork in their upcoming new movies on Fiverr's marketplace.

Fiverr's timer system wasn't right for the artist like myself to be to create realistic art as possible for the movie and game project. This won't work for every indie filmmakers on market since Fiverr either, especially when the system's timer start is running before the artist could make the delivery on time.

If the film producers wanted to hire the artist like myself, they will have to contact me on Behance or DeviantArt. Yes, Adobe owned Behance. It's a social network for artists who show their work and get hired by the TV and movies company, including AAA Games. Sadly, Fiverr is not a place for indie film producer if they wanted good quality of art for their upcoming indie film.

And guess what? Netflix even found one of their artist on Behance to created artwork for "Stranger Things". To be honest, I have not seen or watched any of the shows on Netflix. I don't have a chance to watch Netflix since I was too busy creating art and hope I will one day create art for the tv show if I was hire, like my fellow artist on Twitter. She created a lot of art for the movies and TV shows. I didn't know until I noticed she have been my follower on Twitter for 10 years.

  10. The Artists and the Internet of the 2000s.
What life was like to the artists in the early 2000s compare to today artist in 2022?
Even without Fiverr and few other freelance sites, most artists (including myself) love to post our art on Myspace. And the fans love it. Myspace used to be the home to artists and their creative work of art compared it to social medias such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter today. Believe it or not, most art lovers usually had their favorite artists on their Myspace's top 5 friend list, and I was one of those on their top favorite too! Those was good time.

Where do artist get their art promote before YouTube in early 2000s?
It was crazy that DeviantArt existed in 2000s -- the early year of the internet such AOL (America Online) at the time YouTube didn't even come out in the early 2000s, when I was still a teenager in sophomore during high school year, especially in art class. We get our art exposed to the public by our teacher teachers. And today, with rise of the social medias, the artists turned to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter over DeviantArt and Artstation. Because these social medias were too good for their work to get a lot of attentions from the audiences, and these social medias are now become the biggest social media giants and is the home to every artists for showing off their work on Facebook business pages today in 2022.

How do artists get a commission work without Fiverr, Upwork and other freelance site in 2000s?
DeviantArt and in school, of course.

With the social medias today, Instagram finally become the biggest part of artist's life; showing off skills, the work of art. Not just artists, but photographers as well. You can see every contents and video fill with fashion model, clothing, art, selfie pictures and... maybe music? Not sure about music, but yes I have seen some musicians upload their cover art of their band as well.

Even though the 2000s isn't all that bad compared it to the 80's and the 90's. Those times are still the best decade to those artists who were born in the 1970 and the 1980, but grew up in the 90's.

  11. Ever own a Keeper Trapper with full of crazy colorful 80's artwork when you're a kid take a trip down memory lane with you to a school back in the 90's? Well, here is some of the 1980 nostalgia Keep Trapper tattoo artwork I did a commission for a client on Deviant Art.

Art, TV Shows / movies, books, clothing, music, technologies, pogs game, SNES and SEGA Genesis gaming consoles and elementary school in the 90's is still one of my greatest childhood memory. Those year was an amazing time to grow up, when without the internet, Facebook and YouTube.

Oh 90's, I miss you so much! 💛

  13. The reactions on these Dwarf faces and some of the Nomadic men when they looking at me when I entered the Inn, and rent one room for 10P (Pounds in Fantasy's Currency) of golds. As a 5'2 feet tall, skinny athletic guy,  I can see one of a Dwarf with orange beard whispering in to his buddy's ear (but not sure what he was saying). Well, I guess they never seen someone from another world wearing the modern days clothes coming from different places or from another planet, the world or so. I don't care what they were thinking of me.

Then Inn. Keeper approaching me and asked, "How can I help you, young lad?" (Speaking in ancient Nomadic language).

Then he continues, "I have never seen you before. Hope you don't mind I ask, where are you from?" (Speaking in Nomadic language) as his right hand reach out and picking up 10P of Golds from my hands as I sat on a stool at the bar table. You know, these currency from the Fantasy's world is just so different from our real world. I get used to the U.S. dollars, compare to the U.K. pounds and Australian dollars. Anyway, when I look at his hands as he counting the golds by picking up only 10P of golds which I guess was for the cost of the room I planning to stay for the night.

This old beard Inn. Keeper then looks at me in his strange reaction, probably thinking I was from another planet or just got back from killing a dragon, etc. I guess what they called him. Some of these ancient Nomadic language quite different to the modern English language, but the dialect, which is heavily Scottish accent or so, but I couldn't quite almost understand what he was saying. I can only remember my best friend who is an Irish and Scottish, who also spoke sticky Scottish accent. So I think I could understand little what this fellow old beard was saying. At least, he was politely, unlike these Dwarves jerk and the Nomadic men sitting at the tables drinking with their buddies behind me.

(Deep breath). The smell of the Inn. You can imagine fresh smell was nice. I can tell this Old Beard love to keep his Inn clean.

To be honest, by looking at these Dwarves, they are actually 4'10 feet tall which compare to my height as 5'2. But hell, this Dwarf looks huge and strong. Not sure how much he weight, by the looks of his physical appearance as he carry a huge war axe on his back when he walk out with his buddy. I can't blame these Dwarves of been arrogant and ignorant toward the new visitor like myself magically pop-up into their world.

Well, it's night time by I can't tell what time it is in their world. I'm now lock myself in a room I rent, and working on the drawing of some of these Dwarves I met today at the Inn. Especially the mean Dwarf with orange beard with a huge war axe. I will post the portrait drawing of him on here when I'm done.

Oh, and by the way. You know what? I actually had my iPhone with me. These Dwarves and the Nomadic warriors seem impressive when I show them my iPhone, because they have never see an iPhone technology before. I scroll through my art of the baby dragon painting, but one Nomadic man storm off the Inn with fear, and his buddy said he had a PTSD, that's why he left after saw my dragon artwork. Yes, he actually witness the adult dragon once burned his village when he was little. (Sigh) My condolences to his family.

Anyway, here is the artwork of book cover I was supposed to commission for an author who is um.... a hobbit. You know, the little guy with 3'6 feet? He paid me 200P Golds with this artwork for his book after his journey with his Wizard buddy. I did show him the artwork, and he told me this dragon is just... like the one he saw and it almost kill him by staring into the dragon's eyes when he first time encountered the dragon. And he said it was HUGE. I can imagine how terrifying is that if I was there with him.

But this dragon is just a baby, exactly was this author Hobbit wanted for his book! I'm happy that he satisfied with the artwork.

  14. I find the funny things is that, a seller with a gig description wrote "24/7 Support" on Fiverr. But, how could anyone sit all days and night in front of the computer would offer 24/7 support while working from home? I mean no offense, but... this dude sound like he had a bunch of whole team working with him even he work alone.

This is hilarious. Dude, you are a freelancer. Not an employee. Stop pretending you're working in the company office with whole bunch of (virtual) teams. No freelancer can work as an assistant, offering support 24/7. Your clients doesn't care as long they receive the work you done for them, then they're gone.

If I come across your gig and thinking, why would I want to hire this seller who offer support with 24/7 even he/she is not really on their computer when I send them a message on their seller's account before place an order? Seller like this... would waste my time.
  15. I'm surprise someone got the balls to offering 3 revisions on Basic for $70 and 4 revision on Premium. But this guy at least could handle his clients well and satisfied them with his works!

  16. While browsing through Fiverr's online market; searching to order the better animation logo video for my sci-fi comic. I have seen some of the worst one. I get it, price from $10 - $35 is fair, although the animation video is amateur, I mean. Bad. But hey, it's ok. It's Fiverr business, right?

Although I always try searching for a top seller with level 2 who had the most rating on Fiverr, to create an animation logo and creative writing for my comic I can only hope what I might looking for the right seller to do the job.

I understand they did their best work. I don't mean to offend those logo animation creators.

  17. What's new in Photoshop CC 2022 this year?

    • Object Selection Tool Update.
    • Mask All Objects at once.
    • Full XDR Support.
    • Photoshop & Illustrator enhanced compatibility.
    • Landscape Mixer, Color Transfer & Harmonization.
    • Depth Blur Neural Filter with A.I. assistant
    • 3D features have been removed from Adobe Photoshop.

I love everything about Adobe Photoshop CC 2022, because I enjoy creating environment / scenery art, designing a character concept art, and creating my own customization brushes for drawing and painting with all different textures used in all of my latest works. My personal favorite tools in Adobe Photoshop is that I used Quick Mask shortcut a lot for coloring blending and clean colors painting and to creating realistic art as possible.

Matte painting has become one top number 1 that most professional artist today used in the game and film studios, since we used matte painting to manipulate the real world into sci-fi and fantasy world with our creativity and visions to helps the director and game developers bring them into the screening.

The things I don't like about Adobe is that, I have to pay $29.99 a month via Adobe Creative Cloud to access all of Adobe apps such Adobe Illustrator CC 2022, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and all other Adobe apps, excepted Adobe 3D Substance is not free! But to own the Adobe 3D Substance apps, just sign up Steam account and buy it on there, then I wouldn't have to pay monthly fees because bought the whole 3D Substance package mean I own it! This is why I'm glad Adobe decided put their 3D Substance products on there for $149.99.

I hate that I have to force close Adobe Photoshop CC 2022 if I wanted to updates the latest updates with bug fixed and new features after complete download the Adobe updates every 2 weeks or so.

But, why Adobe didn't do the same things with Photoshop and Illustrator CC on Steam like they did with Adobe 3D Substance? Oh well...

  18. Hi vickieito. I followed your tips on "Post a Request" via Fiverr, and I'm not sure how did I not see that by clicking on the top drop menu on top right corner. And again, thank you so much for being helpful! You're the best, vickieito! 🙂

  20. Yes, from the look on her face -- she had already defeated bunch of the pirates, and cause their ship sank. That's how she won and collecting their gold treasure and jewelries as a trophy for her daddy "Poseidon". He sure does REALLY proud of her, and so do I!
"You go girl! Show these pirates you kick ass!"
Danny cheering as Poseidon chuckles. Then the little redhead mermaid does an innocent cute looks on her face with facial expression, then she bow to him and her dad [Poseidon].
"Thank you so much Danny! But, you created me! And I love you so much for making me beautiful!"
    She bow again.
"Well, I wanted you to be happy! I mean, Poseidon is lucky to have you as his beautiful daughter, right?"
Look at Poseidon, then he nod his head.
"...Yep. I hope you mean Aquaman's daughter."
    "Wait. What? Who's that?"
    Danny replied.
    "Never mind. YeeAAH!"
Poseidon cheering at little redhead mermaid as she looks confused.

  23. October 20, 2070 - "A Journey in the Whirlpool Galaxy"
Cyber-Stellar Space Station crew member made another discovery of this lonely planet, they called it the Red Planet 2, because it look like Mars -- one of the hottest planet in the Whirlpool Galaxy. This planet is not only just a desert planet, but also had clouds as much as other planet like Earth and Venus, the strongest storm ever recorded in the Cyber-Stellar Space Station and I.S.S.

Back home on Earth on December 4, 2062, the Cyber-Stellar Space Station was created by the American, Japanese, Canadian and German astronomers, including United Kingdom who spent hundred of billions of dollars to built the space and sent the crew into space to explore the universe along with an assistant of female A.I. Android named Vanessa. She control everything across the network, and cyberspace, excepted she leave it all to the C.S. Space Captain Henry.

Cyber-Stellar Intelligence Center for Space and Technology (C.S.I.C.) headquarters was located in the North desert of Seattle state of the United States, near the Canada border which built on April 2045 and completed on October 2060. This company was partner with NASA and the International Space Station.

  24. Most people can't afford Adobe Photoshop CC 2022 through Adobe Creative Cloud for $19.99/month, of course, you can still use Corel Painter Pro to create environment/scenery and character concept art, with whatever you can bring your imagination to life. Although Photoshop is still the best app to create digital art and bring it in the online market.

To be a concept artist in the video game and film industry, you don't need to be create a very realistic artwork with a lot of details in color when on a tight schedule. Let's say, the movie or game release need the art to be done by next week, of course, you can create a quick sketches of the character for a bonus PlayStation content like it done on the Naughty Dog's The Last Of Us Part II art book.

    Digital Art Tools
Whatever digital art tools you can afford to master your artistic skills in the video game and film concept artworld -- is Wacom tablet. Any tablet you can afford such Wacom Intuos Pro or Wacom Cintiq you can get off the Wacom's market to create something you can bring it to life in the gaming world. Wacom Intuos or a Cintiq can do a job for you. However, I recommend get Adobe Photoshop if you're looking forward to create art for the entertainment industries. Although I never try Corel Painter Pro, but maybe one day I will if I decide to switch to Core Painter Pro.
