  4. Hello members! @rahetkhan7174 asked about how to write a good proposal for buyer request. I replied him with my experience. After I replied, I thought that the same issue may have to the newbies also. Then I decided to share it with you. I hope you will get some idea to write a good proposal for buyer requests. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is an example, and you can improve this one as you like! but make sure to give an clear idea to client. and Don't use the same template for every request. because some of buyer requests are totally different, some times they ask for another thing that you mentioned in your proposal. then it cause to reject your proposal. As an example, Some buyers are posting as " I need a minimalist logo design for my T shirts". actually he need to do logo to incorporate t-shirt materials. and not it may not for a business" If you're not read the details clearly, you're changing some words of the buyer request proposal you have and send it. At the very first time, the buyer looks at your proposal, they will reject it. because you mentioned about a business logo and they will think you didn't get the idea. They never like to go forward with a person, who haven't better understanding about the project. So Write to the point. make sure you understand everything in the request. If you have any doubts don't hesitate to ask about it from the client. you can add your question in your proposal. That's also very good habit and good point to attract clients for your proposal. I mentioned all of these things with my experience (not only in fiverr) , and it works well for me. So I think this will help you some what. This is the reply I added to his question, Hope this will help for someone who search for how to write good proposal for buyer request. 😃 My profile : fiverr.com/rasanganaj Thanks! Rasa
  5. @rahetkhan7174 As my Experience, you should make a proper layout for the buyer request. First, Address him or her in a friendly way. Don't include sir/ma'am because you exactly don't know who is the client is. Then, Include about your self in very short sentences. (in brief). may be 2-3 short sentences. Include about your experience and skills. in which software you use/expert then try to mention, that you got the idea of the client request, or you can combine the skills you expertise with the request of the client. (make more attention to this!!) also its important to have strong portfolio. so you can include the shortened link of your portfolio. Add your opinion about the work and show how you can improve the clients' idea. What are your deliverables. And ask a question for client inside your description. At last, let the buyers to contact you You can get an idea with my below mentioned sample. If we think some client asking for business logo, with minimal and modern style. He mentioned his business details( assume, he has a food business and name is Fast cook) and he mentioned he needs to add the letters of the business to logo. you can make the proposal like this. This is an example, and you can improve this one as you like! but make sure to give an clear idea to client. and Don't use the same template for every request. because some of buyer requests are totally different, some times they ask for another thing that you mentioned in your proposal. then it cause to reject your proposal. As an example, Some buyers are posting as " I need a minimalist logo design for my T shirts". actually he need to do logo to incorporate in t-shirt materials. and not it may not for a business" If you're not read the details clearly, you're changing some words of the buyer request proposal you have and send it. 6. Yeah I thought the same. because there are many sellers who are in level 2 and most of them already completed the requirements to become a top rated seller. but yet they aren't!
  7. I like that Idea @khalifacyrusuk ! Actually I was thinking about that from the day I promoted as level two seller.
  8. I think the fiverr has already changed what I hope to see!. the last time when I log in to fiverr forum, I felt there was some issue in home page. then that's why I add my opinion to new fiverr forum feedback section. When I login to forum today, yes ! it was changed as I hope. really good and appreciate the work done by the team! Taking the user Ideas is great way to develop any platform better, so I thank you the team for taking user ideas and make it real!
  9. Wow! I think they listen to my idea and implement it to the Fiverr forum!, As I posted in the forum feedback, I mentioned that the new topic section is needs to move left side (as now) and the other categories needs to swift right side, in the home page. because it's very easy to see new posts/Topics first. When I visited the forum early, the topic section was in the right side and the other categories on left side in a larger view. but when I visit the forum today, It was almost changed the way I mentioned in the forum feedback. This is really cool & thank you Fiverr for doing that change as I thought. Also thank you @mjensen415 for collecting ideas of every user who're in the forum and make it happen! Thanks again!
  10. I think that the home page forum sections move to right side and the new topics posted by the members, show in left side(where the current forum section has). so it will clear to see what are the new posts. If some one needs to see the other topics, they can see them on right side and scroll down to the section that they need
  11. Good! but the fee is unfair I think, $29! because the fiverr fee also cut down from the order also. However, I'm waiting to receive an invitation
  12. This is really cool than early, but I have some suggestion to add about the home page navigations. I posted them in forum feedback. However this one is really good!
  13. Great to hear! I think it would be nice if the new forum platform has better UI UX than the current one :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
  14. That’s not how Fiverr works or how Fiverr is meant to work. Buyer should place the order and pay the full amount before you start working. They don’t pay or come up with sob stories, you don’t work. No, because I don’t accept to work for a promise of a future payment. You can’t force them to pay, so the only thing I can think of is that, the next time either wants something from you, you send them a custom offer covering the full price of your work (no more discounts, no matter their latest sob story), plus the amount they owe you. If they don’t accept, you don’t do any work. And stop being a doormat, or unscrupulous buyers will keep walking over you. You wouldn’t go to a store, grab a $310 item, and try to pay $50 to the cashier, would you? Really Thank you for your advice! I also thought to do that as you said at last. That’s the correct best solution. Again thank you for your advice!
  15. Thanks all for taking your valuable time to reply to my post. I asked them again and again, I know they may have some money problem. As humans we respect others. but some are doing wrong with that thing. we can’t change their attitudes. as a seller, I trust their word and I wanted to do my best for them.
  16. I gave one source file because he told he want it to send to the developer. else he couldn’t get the funds from the company that he got the work. I told them. And some times I said I have to report your account to fiverr.
  17. Yes I understood! Many thanks for take your valuable time to reply my post
  18. Thank you for the reply!. I didn’t give him the source files. but the images with a mockup. (i did ui ux design). I don’t know he don’t need that source file
  19. hello, fivers! I have trouble with some of my clients. buyers were giving me orders for a long time. But he asks to do them for a low price than my gig packages price. Because he is a returning buyer, I did his work with my best. he said that he paid after completing the job and start without placing the order first. and when I asked he said that his friend will do the payment for me. After a new seller or another buyer will do the order placement. but for a very low price. (ex: If I said the amount is $80, he will place for $15). And when I asked why, he said that his friend(the actual buyer) told him to place the order for this amount. When I again asked why he told him like that from the actual buyer, He said " Don’t worry I will pay the remaining balance. I have some pending funds, and I will do the payment when it clear." And recently I did work for his friend and the work was given by the client that I said above. After the job completes, he said his friend was in the hospital and he had to handle the work. I gave him a discount because he said that he had an issue with funds. But still, I haven’t received any of the amounts. I sent some custom offers but he doesn’t accept them. I contact him several times recently, and he always said “I’m preparing your order”. and the other client also did the same. but he did a $50 payment for the work of $130. I think he is doing drop servicing. Create UI designs from me and send them to another developer to make the app. and the final app will give to another client. he did 2 works. the remaining balance of the first one isn’t given yet, and for the second one also. He also said he had pending payments and when I sent the offers he also doesn’t accept them. As sellers, do you have any experience like this? What should I do for this? I have to get about $300 from these two buyers please advice! thanks Mod Note: Country/region reference removed.
  20. If some one had a experience with this ,please help me.
  21. I changed the title and tags, also the GIG images in one of my GIG. It was on the 3rd page (without online filter active) before change them. I wanted to do SEO on my gig and rank it on first or second page, so I changed all and add meta tags to images and re upload them. But it wasn’t ranked and it disappear in search results. I send a message to Fiverr CS and they did some fixes so it showed again. but on 7th page. So I did many things to get it on least 3rd page as early. but it’s still on 7th page. I haven’t received any orders for that gig yet. its impressions and clicks are also downed. I recently published a gig in same category but it wasn’t show in result pages. but it impressions about 186-200 for past 14 days. If any one knows what should I do for my gig to rank it on 1-2 pages and receive orders as before ,please help me. Hope your kind replies thank you Rasa
