Thing is - I LOVED the graphics and what I've seen from the story, I just... wasn't good at all so I kept getting frustrated. I haven't really played with a controller before (I've been practicing, but I'm much more comfortable with a keyboard), however all the different mechanics and stuff make it sort of, well, even harder to play on a keyboard.

Yeah Elden Ring was my first souls game too. I had to be told to play it from 10 different people to try it. Loved since then. If you jump to into bottom in starting area there is some combat tutorial and easy boss to get started. It gets easier from then. The controller thing was what I hated so I have just used my keyboard and mouse. You can check out youtube for easy keyboard configuration. Decreasing the mouse sensitivity is must.  Have fun.

So - confession, I did try Elden Ring out but I... didn't like it. z

Elden ring could be one of the most Gothic game out there. You might like it. It's just bit non-linear like Zelda: Breath of wild. Tons of exploration and no arrows pointing anywhere except main questline. I love writing down npc dialogue and then find the story without googling 🙂

I just looked at her profile and now it looks like it is from France where in the image above it says @rebecacovers1 is from Ukraine?

Something 🐟 fishy is going on? 🤔

Oh I have checked rebecacovers1 on fiverr. Location set by automatically right? Unless she was in France or using vpn for some reason. It's fishy indeed. Just right after this post original account had delivered order.
It might be someone claiming to be her trying to get some loophole somehow 🤷‍♂️

I can relate to this as well. You get to chose exactly what type of service you want to provide and improve your skills in that particular area at the same time.

For example, if you're a graphic designer and you get hired by a company, you might be assigned to design social media posts, posters and brochures, but if you're really into book cover or music album cover designs, you might not even get the chance to exercise your skills in these particular niches. Of course, a graphic designer should be versatile, but it might hinder your true potential if you're really passionate about a specific field of work.

Pros: Now I am in Ukraine, where the situation is quite bad, and I completely overestimated the very model of freelance work. In a country where there is a war, I still HAVE a job and have income. That is, I can work in any situation. If there is internet, I will work and earn an income. There is nothing more valuable than this.

Yeah these two pros might out weight all other cons.

One more pro from me: Traveling and choosing location to live in. I don't have financial way to travel around the world with ticket prices sky-rocketing from Covid and war. But I could choose better place to live, away from busy city and still have job. I am thinking about moving into bigger house away from city with maybe cheaper price.  Before that I have to get full grasp of Fiverr yet. 🙂 I think I just have to find enough regulars to make it consistent

  5. Pro - More time to spend for myself and family. Because I live in very busy city road congestion used to take 2-3 hours of my life.  Freelancing from home means same as extending my life 😛

Pro- Low stress. Since I decide my schedule I could plan ahead. Working on more interesting projects.

Pro-I can improve myself more. My day job was monotonous at the same time stressful and wasn't something I wanted to do. I think just working on various random projects I have improved my illustration skill so much. 😛 And there isn't any full time job that illustrate DND characters or fantasy landscape in my city.

Con-Earning less compared to full time job. I am hoping to increase it 🤔

Con-Inconsistent. I am not talking about how sometimes there is less clients but too much client at the same time. For some reason everyone active at start of the month. I got like 10 orders same time. Then too much free time during end of the month.🤪

  6. Some old forum I used to visit had implemented moderator free report function.

I think it's how it works.

-Post should not be older than 24 hours to be reported.
-and If the post has reported at least 5 times, from each of different individuals in span of 2 hours.
-and If the post doesn't have more than 1 like
Temporary banned from posting for 24 hours, but post will not be deleted. (Read only)

If this person temp banned for more than 3 occasion in week notification will be sent to moderators. Moderators will finally check if this person should be banned again or some group of people attacking this person. 🤔

Here's something you didn't mention, and I'm not sure if you've even had a reason to notice it: Fiverr has recently added this to their search (or at least I've noticed it recently):

I have found this when searching for an illustrator in search bar. Maybe it's the reason I am getting less messages than my average. 🤔 I am pretty sure people are more interested in value part.

    give suggestion?

I have just checked your gigs. Do you have any other skills ? You got too much competition in some of these gigs. I have never understand why would anyone pay someone to design their web with elementor, wix or even squarespace ? It takes client to 10 minutes to get the idea and starts editing templates. I would say your Fix wordpress issue gig may work for you. I would have been more specific on what issue you can fix or cannot etc... Writing too much marketing jumble word like "100% Customer Satisfaction" may have adverse effect.

  9. There is one really serious tip for illustrators. Do not put your best work in gig image. Then clients will order from you expecting same quality. Often you can't do same quality of work in short time frame with low price.  It will lead to thinking they are buying masterpiece leads to very unsatisfied client. Manage their expectation then overdeliver if possible.

are there benefits to being level two?

Congrats on reaching Level 2. 🙂 Here is an official article regarding that level:

Yep. It's basically same as level one. Other than creating 20 gigs thing. There must be some hidden fiverr algorithm that benefit from levels or just level 2 badge may make difference. People maybe filter by level 2 often so much it may make difference. Let's see I have just reached level 2 too.

  11. Sustainable gig is One that has priced high. With 5$ gig unless you managed to get at least 20 orders everyday and finishing it everyday it's not possible to do full time. And gigs that has priced at 5$ like background removal has too much competition to get sustainable 20 orders a day.  There are people rate their work starting from 200$ which they only need to do 5,6 six orders a month. It's more sustainable because it doesn't focus on quantity and has chance to focus on quality. Quality projects will bring more regulars.
Btw regulars are the only possible method to be sustainable on fiverr.  My plan is to get just 5,6 regulars which is better than getting 20 random order and being done.
