  1. I get a kick out of the folks who have never had to chase a net 30 customer and hope that you can get invoices paid net 60 days.

Hmmm, I think you need to get out more Mike but yes, it really surprises me when people have never come across it. Offline, it is completely standard to get and give credit limits.

  2. Maybe in your type of business it doesnt happen but I have clients from all over Europe and this is pretty standard for the majority of agencies. Once you are making a regular income, after two weeks it doesn’t really make a difference anyway.

  3. Hi, Hope that you all are Fine.

I think there should be fix number of days in which the buyer can came back to you to write a review

I’m talking about those orders which automatically marked as completed and after that the Buyer can come back any time and can leave a feedback.

Mostly the buyers come back after a long time and ask for revisions and We have no other option except to do the revision because if we don’t do so he’ll diffidently leave a Negative review

I want to get suggestion from all you that How many days there should be in which the buyer can Give a feedback.

Once I have a Bad experience. A buyer contact me almost after a month and than ask me to do revisions and when I refuse to do changes than he clearly sated “Make the changes without any extra. If not than I’m going to leave one star review.”

So, there should be some fix days in which the Buyer can give review and after fix days buyer can give review on sellers permission.

What you all think about it? Share your such experience and your suggestions.

Or you could enforce the conditions under which you sold the order and not operate from fear.

  4. I think Fiverr should introduce a request feature for sellers using a seller can request buyer for quick release of payment and in case of approval the payment of order should be released to seller instantly.

Would be a nightmare. However, fiverr should pay Level 1/2 in the same 7 days as they pay TRS and presumably PRO. I can’t see any reason why fiverr deserves to hold (and collect interest on) my funds an extra week.

  5. The review page pops up right after I accept the order so it’s impossible to miss - I actually have to press the skip button to bypass it.

I like the personal touch on delivery such as briefly telling me what you did for me, even if you regurgitate the requirements section.

In my line of work, there is a technique we call “shadowing.” There are various name for it. When having a verbal conversation, the nodding of your head and occasionally repeating what the other person says,

makes the person feel you understand, sympathize and/or agree.

This leads to better, fulfilling conversation on the 2nd party.

In writing, you can use similar technique to make client feel special in a professional way. It takes you 2 minutes to list what you did, then you can add the " my goal is to make sure you’re. . . . "

It makes me feel good to get the personal touch from seller than short, abrupt messages. It makes me want to reciprocate with a nice review.

I’ve seen it used verbally in sales situations. Interesting to apply it to written word. Good stuff. Thanks

  6. I absolutely, positively hate it when sellers ask me for reviews.

I’d like to ask, as a buyer does this approach bother you? This is the text I use when I deliver.

    Hi,

Your project is enclosed. If you have any questions or comments, please let me know.

Otherwise, I would very much appreciate positive feedback.

Please add my gig to your favorites so we can work together again in the future.

    Thanks again.

  7. Mine is 89%. Yes, we should ask buyer to leave a review because maximum buyers normally skip this step!

we should ask buyer to leave a review

You can simply place that in the text you use to deliver the product. Something like “If you have questions, please let me know. If you are happy with the work, I would really appreciate positive feedback.”
