Privacy Control from a buyer?

So…I get this email from Fiverr…looking like any other, and looking like a request for info, from a potential buyer. I go to click on it and it says this customer cannot be contacted directly due to privacy??? She contacted me! What goves? Anyone know what this is about???

I had the same thing happen to me. I think the “buyer” must have gotten flagged or reported for violating rules and booted off the site. That is the only thing I can think of.

The user was a spammer and got flagged before you read the message sent to you along with who knows how many others? Their messaging system is screwy and so you get stuck with these message in your mailbox. A quick ticket (or so I thought) to fiverr support to get deleted from my account has now turned into 5 or 6 replies and a “we can’t promise that those messages will be removed from your account” type of canned reply so I’ll wait and see what happens.
