I got the aforementioned message from a potential buyer. My interpretation of this message is "update your email on to something that is on gmail's domain since your current email is causing an issue during the payment process". Since they didn't outright ask me to give them my email, I wanted to confirm if what they're doing is legit or not buy asking in the community forums. 

I'm new to fiverr and just recently posted a gig so I don't know how things usually work.

Report and block the account which is asking for these details.

I’m an freelancer just like you I get these scam messages daily do not believe them and do NOT give them your email as they will spam you with Emails all day long if you do so delete the chat and report the account
