Crowdfunding a Fiverr Project?

Hi all - quick question please. 

It seems to me that UpWork projects are a perfect fit for crowdfunding (I have some experience). For example, a creator wants to create a digital project - e.g. platform for online learning, comes here for someone to create it, and then crowdfunds the cost. It's a win/win as the creator gets to build a community and validation.

On reading some of the forums, freelancers & creators wasting time on projects that don't happen because of funding and/or pricing being pushed down are big problems. Maybe this would help?

Would you help support and spread the word of such a crowdfunding platform, if it was tailored for such projects? Suggestions welcome.
