ID verification
The ID verification process must be completed on a mobile device.

If you start the verification process on your desktop, you'll be given two options to be redirected to a mobile device. You  will provide a QR Code or a link will be sent via SMS. Once starting the process on your mobile device, you’ll be required to:

Add a clear photo of an official government ID (driver's license, passport, etc.) from the list of available documents (dependant on your country of residence).
Take a real-time selfie.

Please note: Photos must be taken in a well-lit space, are clear and sharp, and aren’t cut off in any way— this increases the chances of the photos being approved.

Do not take photos of scanned images of yourself or your ID, these cannot be verified.

As part of the ID verification process, we use a third-party service provider’s identity verification software. The software first validates that your image is from an official government ID and that your selfie is authentic. It then compares the two images you upload to determine whether the uploaded ID and selfie are authentic images that match.

This process is required to prove that the document submitted represents you, and isn’t copied from other sources.
