If your gig doesn't have any tags, or if it has tags that aren't relevant to the gig, it's less likely to show up in search results. PRO TIP: If your gig is not showing on Fiverr, it may be because it is not active, or because it is not in the right category.

It seems you've not been shadow banned on search before. The gig in question has been getting orders and best selling since 2016 and suddenly it just stopped appearing on search results this year January. This is definitely not a problem with tags

I understand that it can be frustrating when your gig is not showing up in search results, especially when you have a strong track record and positive reviews. Here are a few suggestions that may help you recover and improve your gig's visibility:

  1. Review your gig's optimization: Ensure that your gig's title, description, and tags are relevant and include keywords that potential buyers might use to search for your services. Consider updating and optimizing these elements to improve your gig's visibility in search results.
  2. Enhance your gig's images and videos: Visual content can make a significant impact on attracting potential buyers. Make sure your gig's images and videos are of high quality and accurately represent the services you offer. Consider updating them to make your gig more appealing and stand out from the competition.
  3. Promote your gig externally: In addition to relying solely on Fiverr's search results, you can actively promote your gig outside of the platform. Utilize social media platforms, personal websites, or relevant online communities to showcase your services and attract new clients.
  4. Maintain excellent customer service: Providing exceptional customer service is crucial for receiving positive reviews and repeat business. Ensure you respond promptly to inquiries, deliver orders on time, and exceed client expectations. Happy clients are more likely to leave positive reviews, which can boost your gig's reputation.
  5. Seek repeat business and referrals: Encourage your existing clients to reorder your services or refer you to others. Satisfied clients can become your brand advocates and help generate new business.
  6. Consider diversifying your services: Assess the demand for your current gig and consider expanding your offerings to cater to a broader audience. Offering related services or targeting different niches can help you attract new clients and increase your overall visibility on the platform.

If you're still facing difficulties and not getting the support you need from Fiverr's customer support, you may want to consider reaching out to their support again or exploring alternative channels such as their community forums or social media pages. Additionally, consider networking with other freelancers on the platform who may have experienced similar issues and can provide guidance based on their own experiences.

Remember, building and maintaining a successful gig requires continuous effort, adaptability, and delivering exceptional service. Persistence and constant improvement will increase your chances of recovering and attracting new clients.
