Fiverr Suddenly Deranked my Entire account

shahzaaaib

Question

The title really kind of says it all. that my account has been deranked and my gigs that were performing very well have now been deranked all of the sudden even though the quality of work only kept increasing. In this sense Upwork is a lot better than fiverr it doesn't hold you back like this I have had more than 30k$ of sales on my upwork account and never once has something of this sort happened plus fiverr provides a metric to fulfill to become promotion partner to promote your gig for which you have to be level 1 and etc but you have to fulfill "some other metrics" which is not transparent and basically translates to we'll give the option to promote when it suits and of course having so many people on the platform, it wouldn't suit them anytime soon. At the end of the day for any freelancer reading this and still making money doesn't matter if you have 50, 100 or 500  reviews you can be deranked and I would highly suggest taking what you have earned from here and setup on Upwork. Yes it might cost a bit but getting a bidder would solve your bidding problem and the orders are much professional and payments are much more hefty.

Unless fiverr fixes these issues Upwork is really the best place to do freelancing out of these two

Okay so

firstly thanks,

secondly It is not a matter of who's more profitable because both the sites take 20 percent of your earnings so both of them are equally profitable, but the transparency and professionalism with which UPWORK deals with it's sellers and buyers and which reflects from it's Term of Services is way better than that of fiverr.

Fiverr hides misleading and miscellaneous sections in their TOS which they use to evade protecting their sellers from blackmailing clients or just out right shutting them down whenever they want

Also yes there is a thing as Rank on fiverr which is how the Algorithm of fiverr places your Gig on different pages so please don't mislead others.

Being hell bent on fiverr working fine when it clearly has some issues that not me not hundreds but thousands of sellers have raised all over the internet wouldn't solve those problems but maybe my thread will definitely let other freelancers know the level of unprofessionalism that fiverr deals with it's sellers.

even as of now it's been literally 4 days one of my complaints has not been answered, Upwork literally replies in under 12 hours and sometimes instantly.

As a fellow freelancer who knows how hard it is for people to work on these one sided biased platforms I feel like it is my duty to let others know how Upwork is literally A million times better than fiverr.

First of all, that was an incredibly long run-on sentence.

Second, if that U site is more profitable for you, then why are you here on Fiverr, complaining that Fiverr isn't as profitable? Fiverr does not owe you any orders. It is not Fiverr's responsibility to make sure your Fiverr gigs are profitable. That's not how Fiverr works.

There is no such thing as rank on Fiverr. That is also not how Fiverr works.

As far as I am aware, Fiverr is working just fine, and is working as intended.
