How do you get my first job aside using buyers request?

Hello everyone

I am a newbie, i am about a month in now and i haven’t gotten my first order yet. I have always checked on buyer request and in most occasions it shows no request. On occasions where there are requests, i sent in proposals but haven’t got a response from every proposal sent though most of the job post were removed.

This gives me a cause to worry. I never seize to promote my gig through my social media account, even this doesn’t seem to pay off. Is there a way to get around this to land my first job.
