Do we have worked for free?

Since we are new on Fiverr and before contact the support, we try to ask here. We had our first gig five days ago. The client contacted us through the conversation box. We have downloaded the file to work on, and we have uploaded it, completely elaborated, the day after. We both have used the conversation box.

Up to now, no reply we have received from the client, even if asked. So, we think we have used Fiverr in a wrong way, haven’t we?

I’ve had buyers try and do that too me. Wanting me to send my work in a message before they order a gig. Or so they say. Not that everyone who does this is trying to scam you. Some really don’t understand how Fiverr works 🙂

This has happened to me twice. I’ve done this before and the orders were done through the conversation box but I received payment. Recently I got two orders that went the same way as before except there was no mention of job completed. I’m still confused on the whole thing.

This happened to me once. I actually offered to do it “before” he ordered… So I did… and he never ordered… So yep, Lesson learned!
